Please keep in mind that Puerto Rico is an island that sometimes experiences water and electricity outages. The vibrant atmosphere of Puerto Rico means street noise is part of the experience. If you're a light sleeper, consider bringing earplugs. Additionally, while we do our best to keep critters away, the tropical weather here means they can be a bit persistent. There are seasonal bugs that are attracted to light, so we advise turning off the lights to encourage them to move away.

good place with issues
Overall we liked the apartment, but there we some issues that I think people should know. Good: --Location is great. --outdoor space was nice to have. As expected, there is not any good view, but the air is nice.--kitchen is nice--the king bed is very comfortable--had no issues at all with outside noise other than what should be expected in a town with tight roads. In fact, the back bedrooms are very quiet except for some occasional noise from the central courtyard. Bad--the spiral staircase is tight, and is between the entrance door and the living room. It is required on every entrance/ exit of the apartment. --One bedroom is in the living room with glass walls. I did know this going into the rental. --the other bedrooms are smaller and have very limited natural light. one has no window. the other has one small window facing the interior courtyard. --the second bathroom sink has no hot water at all. Management said that it is not hooked up. --the outdoor cushions are pretty moldy--the bed in the glassed in bedroom is not comfortable. --could use more/ better seating in the living room and outdoor space. Weird- --there is a walkway connecting the living area and the two back bedrooms. This goes across a central courtyard with lower level units that are rented. There is a living area with a bathtub/ shower. We did walk across once while a man was showering (nude) in the tub. There is a pretty dense screen, limiting the view, but...
