The host never provided a key fob or beeper to get in and out of the villa garage or the security gate, despite our requests. We were locked out daily. The instructions included a beeper for the gate, but the host just kept giving a code to use. The code dialed the host's phone number which was sometimes busy, and sometimes went to a voicemail box that was full. At night, during the day, We never knew if we'd get back in. Also the washing machine never worked. Even upon reporting that there was no effort or even apology. We had six people on a beach vacation had a hand wash our clothes. Also we always have had access to the beautiful pool and hot tub and bar down by the beach for residents in my previous days. This time we were not allowed entry. It just seemed like every day there was some kind of obstacle to just stay at this house.The view is beautiful, but the host was obviously not a host but some kind of corporate owner. This made our vacation very stressful. The constant messaging of the host. The continual calling of VRBO agents to try to remedy something. Two of the VRBO agents never even got back to us. I felt like we were on our own to just get through the week. We stayed in a similar Villa in the same complex most of the time when we visit Puerto Rico. Never had this problem. We will be going back to that host for sure. I would not recommend this VRBO to anyone planning to visit Puerto Rico. I would choose a different host under different management!
