The hotel was a great place. The chef's dishes were fantastic. Pizza night was great oven baked. Walk right onto the beach or play in the pool with beach view. I would have given it all 5 stars but there was one waitress that clearly doesn't like her job. The rest were great so 4 stars for the staff

The drive in is pretty scary (especially in the dark) however the stay is absolutely worth it! Not too many other places around. Ocean is rocky right out front. Pool and amenities are amazing. All the excursions are so worth it. The detail to this place is impeccable. The best thing about my stay was the staff. They remember you and are as personable as one can be. LOVED our stay and will be back.

I think it is important to present Nicaraguan gastronomy, such as fried fish with tostones. Also ceviches and tostones with cheese, something very typical of Nicaragua to try.

The property itself is really beautiful, Taberna 99 offers variaty of drinks and food, it's pricy. Rooms are really good, although you will be hearing the people in the restaurant if you are in a close by room. The pool is beautiful, you get a sense of peace and is right next to all the rooms. Getting there is easy enough, although far from the main road, close to the coastanera highway (was underconstruction during my stay). If you want a getaway night, or you're into surfing, I do recommended it.
