The AC broke and my room was hot for both nights. Unfortunately It was not fixed until the morning I checked out. Otherwise it was a beautiful facility. Hard to sleep when you are sweating.

Thank you for your review. We are very sorry for the inconvenience with the cooling tower experiencing a malfunction during your stay. Fortunately, we were able to rush the part from out of state for same-day delivery and had it installed by 2 AM. I truly hope you understand our position with this important and unpredictable matter. Looking forward to being of service to you again in the near future, thank you very much for staying with us. Richard.

Nice short stay

Pros: Modern, clean and very nice staff.
Location: Not much to do within walking distance but lots of stuff if you drive or get a ride.
The hotel is a nice location, it is clean and modern. Hotel bar drinks and food are expensive but convenient as there not much withing walking distance. Parking valet or self serve is expensive and unfortunately there is no other option other than that. Overall nice place just be prepared for high prices at bar and parking.

Pullman Hotel Experience

Pros: Staff, rooms, proximity to San Francisco / San Mateo Bridge (Oakland / Pacifica Access) / and South Bay.
Cons: Let guests know that there is a parking fee.
Location: Too many to list and they're accessible via Bart or by car.
The Pullman presents a modern and clean experience near SFO. Customer service was superior. The only complaint we learned upon entry was a dispute by a customer checking out before us. We learned only then that there is an additional $25 per night fee for parking. Had I known that ahead of time, I might have chosen another place, but still glad we stayed.

The name is deceiving, it's 30 miles from the bay.

The name tricked me into staying there, we were actually 30 miles from our destination.

Needs improvement

Bathroom needs exhaust fan and windows did not open which lacked fresh air. Tv would lose signal so we had to turn off. Coffee items seemed old and coffee was very bitter.

$25.00 to park

$25.00 to park at the Pullman garage, No off sight parking allowed. Not accustomed to this behavior. I don't pay at a regular hotel to park In the lot. Not happy.

Big city service tucked away next to a Lagoon

Pros: The location and full service hotel. Room service was quick. The food was well prepared with good size portions. Choice of shower heads and bath robes
Cons: We think a second chair in the rooms with the long desk would be an improvement.
Location: Air Museum. We were there for Easter and found a lovely local church. Also restaurants we enjoyed: Stacks and La Creole.
Overall this is a formal/full service hotel much like one would expect in San Francisco or New York. (e.g., doorman and designated staff to assist with luggage, valet parking, key locked elevators, restaurant and bar.) Generally, the San Francisco Peninsula/Silicon Valley hotels tend to be more relaxed or they are inns/boutique hotels. It is nice alternative to find this type of hotel in a suburban city (Redwood City/San Carlos). The location is quiet and the hotel is on a lagoon. I watched a Crew Team practicing. The staff were pleasant and responsive: e.g., There was a long desk in the room, however only one chair. Our call to request a second chair was initially met with a "huh?" However, shortly thereafter, a young woman arrived with the chair. It was much easier for us to complete the tasks sitting side by side than with one person standing. (note: Shuttle service and self parking are also available.)

Nice hotel with great room and view

Excellent room with a very comfortable bed welcomed after a 9 hour plane ride. Disappointed that the shuttle stopped from the airport before we got there. Also surprised that a hotel this caliber did not have an indoor pool, being in SF. Lovely breakfast restaurant.
