I was pleasantly surprised at the property. It looked like it had been recently renovated, but with good results. Paint, floors, countertops were expertly done. It was very neat and clean and came with a light breakfast room.

Under Remodel Construction At Time Of Review

At this time the hotel is under remodeling. So my review is giving a bit of grace due to the construction. We stayed at the same hotel a couple weeks ago as well. Upon arrival last time, we had to move rooms due to the new tv not being programmed. A bit of a nuisance, but ok. This time, after checking in, I noticed stains/dirt on the bed. I immediately went downstairs and was given keys to another room. Staff didn’t seem to be bothered and asked “ What is that?” when I showed her a photo of the bed, and simply stated she would give us another room. I replied I had no idea but wasn’t going to sleep in that bed. 2 stays, 2 times I had to move. The new room hadn’t quite been completed with the remodel. We had to move a lamp and the new tv hadn’t been installed yet. The old tv is on a table in front of the whole in the wall where the new tv will be installed. The tv only has 13 local channels, due to no cable service. They only have a local antenna. We also had a broken tv remote. My husband picked up a fresh towel, only to find a hair on it. There were no hangers available to hang clothes. The construction crew takes up almost all the parking spaces in front of the rooms between equipment and their personal vehicles. I was really hoping this would be our go-to hotel as we travel to SD often, but after a second chance, we will not be returning to this property. I left with the feeling that staff doesn’t care and there is no pride in the care of the hotel or guests.

The hotel is under renovation, with renovation materials everywhere, and the noise starts at 8 am every morning , you will feel like you are living in a construction site. when I booed in February, it said that breakfast would be included, but when i check in , it said that it was not. THIS HOTEL IS A SCAM.

HEALTH HAZZARD SHOULD BE CONDEMNED, RUN AWAY!

This hotel needs to be condemned and the health board called immediately. Under construction, but still renting rooms filled with smoke (it appears there was a fire in the walls?) and showers full of mold. The rooms look like something out of a slasher film. I am not exaggerating. Do not go here for the love of your health. I cancelled, got a refund, and will report to the health board. Hotels.com should not feature this filthy, unsafe, health hazzard of a building.

Even though the hotel was under construction, and certain amenities were unavailable (not mentioned when we booked a long while ago) the staff was accommodating. The new rooms when complete will be great (we just didn’t have a microwave or tv) So my review is based for future bookings. It will be super nice when it’s all done.

They are going through some extensive renovations and perhaps things will improve. There is no breakfast although it is advertised. The pool isn't heated although that is also advertised. Only two pieces of equipment worked in the Fitness Center. More important, the TV pixalates, the phone in the room doesn't work and the coffee maker in the room did not have a basket to put the coffee pod in, so that also didn't work

Mold everywhere , no pool no Jacuzzi, no breakfast. They were working in the room they made me stay in and they were using a blow torch to burn mold of the wall and around the door it was disgusting!!! Do your self a favor do not book here to save a couple bucks.

A very unpleasant experience.

I would not recommend this hotel. The property is under construction, which wasn’t mentioned when I booked. There was no hot water during my stay, and I noticed mold in the bathroom. They advertise breakfast, but there was none available. The pool and spa were also closed, which was really disappointing. On top of that, the entire place had an old, musty smell. Overall, a very unpleasant experience — I wouldn’t stay here again.

This place was so bad they definitely catfished me with their photos online. First of all, the entire place was under construction when we went, which was not advertised. It looked abandoned and so sketchy. There was trash everywhere and there was no free breakfast as advertised either. The room looked like a dirty motel room. There was a roach in the bathroom and the water was ice cold. No hot water. I felt like a terrible mom bringing my baby there. It’s cheap, but not worth the false advertising. Stay away.
