Super cute house in a fantastic, walkable neighborhood. It felt very safe, and we loved how easy it was to walk to Little Italy and down to the waterfront. Being able to stroll to great restaurants, coffee, and the bay made this an ideal home base.Inside, the mid-century style in the living and dining rooms is lovely — stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully done. We also appreciated the little things that made our stay easier, like laundry pods being provided and convenient off-street parking.I was initially concerned about the proximity to I-5, but it truly wasn’t an issue. There’s a wall that does a great job of keeping the noise down, and we didn’t hear traffic at all while inside the house. The home is also on a flight path, which we actually found fun rather than annoying. We downloaded FlightRadar24 and enjoyed sitting on the front patio with a glass of wine, talking and watching the planes come in — it became part of the charm. Air traffic tapers off after about 5 pm, quiets down significantly after 10 pm, and we didn’t hear planes again until around 8 am. Saturdays were noticeably quieter. The property is managed by a management company, which requires a couple of additional steps prior to arrival, including a separate property use agreement and a photo of a driver’s license. While that was a bit more involved than usual, everything was smooth and they even allowed us early check-in, which we really appreciated.
