Great place to stay! Just as described in listing and photos. Notes for those considering: Kitchen was very well stocked with all you need to cook large meals. It does not have A/C (which we knew) but each room has very nice fans. It was a heat wave while we were there so a few members of the party were still a bit too warm. It is densely packed area so expect to hear neighbors. The morning sun shines directly into the living room/dinning area (at least in mid-March while we were there). The elevator and 2 entry level bedrooms were great for those who had limited mobility in our party. It is on street dead end w/parking spots so we were able to get close additional parking easily.

This is a really great property - good space for a larger group. It's clean and updated and really easy access to the beach and the bay, which is nice. I've stayed at several properties in this area and this one is by far my favorite.

The property was well supplied and very clean. The communication with Drift Vacation Homes was good and professional. They provided every necessary detail prior to our stay for a super smooth check in and exit at the end. The property’s location was excellent. Being in the Bay instead of the ocean side turned out to be the right choice. Was quiet and pretty private. Great family vacation for 12 of us!!

The place overall was decently nice but I wouldn’t stay here again due to the sewer pump that was located directly outside of the front of the unit on the beach so any time the doors and windows were open (which they needed to be because it was so hot inside without them open) there was a strong sewage sulfur smell. There are also 4 units located within the one building with thin walls and wood floors throughout and considering there was no AC we had to have windows and doors open which resulted in a noise complaint when watching a movie with the kids (ages 6-13) at night, the property manager calling the next morning saying there were complaints until 3-4am when our entire house was sleeping after the movie ended at midnight…just a little frustrating to wake up to a message threatening to evict when traveling with kids and knowing the place that was really keeping up whoever complained were the twenty something’s next to our place that were raging all night…I can provide a video for proof of this if you would like as they were raging the next night as well… we also spoke to the neighbors directly below us asking if we were the problem the night before and they confirmed we were not. Anyway overall a nice enough place, in a decent location but like I said wouldn’t stay here again.

Enough room and beautiful view

A few of my favorite things were all the bathrooms, and the feet washing station outside. We never took the elevator because it seemed very sketchy. I do wish the parking spot was a little bigger and maybe had room for our beach equipment, but luckily it was pretty well stocked. I would recommend this to anyone. We loved it.

Perfect location

Property was perfect for our family of 10 adults and 2 young children. Everyone had their own bed and bath with plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked. The elevator was great for going up and down with luggage and little ones. We had one issue with fire alarm, battery beeping at night and maintenance. Was there the next morning to take care of everything. Highly recommend.

Spacious condo near many attractions

We stayed 5 nights over new years. Our dual family with 6 people had plenty of space. Condo was well stocked and comfortable. We loved the easy access to the beach, bay, and top local attractions. We were within 10-20 minutes of the zoo, old Town, La Jolla, seaworld, and airport. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely consider staying again!Things to note:-Parking is one dedicated covered parking spot under the building. Easily fits a standard car, but large truck or SUV may be tight. We had two vehicles, so a few times we had to park the other car a few blocks away. -No dedicated private outdoor space. We were aware of this, and didn't mind because of the time of year. But if that is an important feature, you may consider a different unit. - There will be airplane noise at times. It didn't bother us, but it is present.-If you stay in the cold months, there isn't central heating in the main living area. Space heaters and blankets are provided, so we were always comfortable. -Kitchen is very well stocked. We cooked several meals at the unit, and had everything needed. Overall, a great option for the area!

Great for our family group.

We had 4 siblings and spouses stay so it was great to have three bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The condo is very well supplied and had everything we needed. The downside was that it would've been nice to know ahead of time how tight the parking is. The only other comment is that there was no heat source in the living area and the mornings were a little chilly.

Fantastic place

We really enjoyed our time in this apartment. It was clean, spacious, and very well located next to the bay and close to the beach. The property manager had excellent communications and responded quickly when we had some issues with the dishwasher and refrigerator. We would love to come back in the future.

Was better than the pictures!

Stayed here with a group of 8 people. We all really enjoyed our stay! The unit was equipped with everything you would need in a real condo/apartment: all kinds of cookware, plates, detergent, towels, fun shot glasses etc etc. Every room had a ceiling fan and box fan, extra blankets, hotel style folded towels in the bathrooms. Overall it had the feel of a luxury hotel inside a condo on the beach. Very nice!

Week in San Diego

Property is on Mission Bay with beautiful views of the bay. It is only a 2 minute walk to the ocean. We had one designated parking spot. We had two vehicles so the other vehicle typically parked alongside the unit or within two blocks at most.

Bayside Walk

This was a fabulous home for our week long family get together. There were ten of us ranging from age eight to grandparents. The unit was very clean when we arrived, spacious and nicely furnished. The beds were very comfortable. The location is great. We could walk outside to the bay and across the street to the ocean. The boardwalk was right out the door.

Famiky time

All of our kids and grand kids were with us 11 in all. Had plenty of space and privacy when needed. All of us were able to eat in the kitchen. Having the beach on the bay was great fir our younger grand children. Would rent again if all of us are together.

Milestone Year Celebration

My wife of 50 years and I, celebrated the graduation of two grand sons, the confirmation, and my sons 20th anniversary, and a couple of 70th birthdays. This was the perfect spot for 6 adults and 5 young adults to enjoy each others company in a beautiful relaxed setting. The location was convenient to all the things we wanted to do. I’d recommend the property to anyone who wants to vacation with a large group.
