Review

This is a dog friendly vbro. There was dog hair on the bed sheets, floor, and in the dryer. We were looking forward to playing cornhole however it was it really bad shape. A very disappointing experience. The owners were notified and did reimburse some of the cost. Additionally, there are 2 other VBROs close and 2 houses. This was not disclosed on the posting.

Above and beyond

This is by far the cleanest, most fun and well equipped rental I have ever stayed in, and I’ve stayed in a LOT of rentals. They offer a fully stocked coffee bar with everything you could hope for, including a frother. There are spices for grilling, a filtered water dispenser, a beautiful fully stocked kitchen, more than enough towels, tons of storage, and comfortable beds. We used the basketball court, the game room, the grill, the hot tub, and watched TV - everything exceeded our expectations. The owners truly thought of everything and have done a wonderful job. They sent a message checking to make sure we had everything we needed, and were very attentive. This would be the perfect set-up for multiple families traveling together, with the fun shared amenities. It’s about a 10 minute drive to Boerne, 25 to San Antonio and 40 to Fredericksburg. Great location if you want to do it all. My family of 4 gives it 8 thumbs up.

Quit, Cozy,Relaxing

Very clean and well stocked 2 bedroom. Great location. Seperate Arcade added extra fun to our stay. Needed to contact owner with a question and received a quick response. Great signage makes navigating the property and check out easy. We will Definitely be returning to this Quiet, Cozy home away from home! property and check out easy.

Great family getaway

I highly recommend The Oak Haus to everyone!! This place made for a great environment for welcoming back our son from graduating from the Air Force. The hosts were just as awesome as the property!! Great Hill Country Stay

Everything was great! Lots of little extras to enhance our stay. The hot tub worked great and we used it every day. The kcup choices were fun, and the kitchen had everything you might need. Electronics were easy to use. Everything was very clean!

Great Country Getaway!

My family really enjoyed our stay here! My son loved the game room and we enjoyed a night dip in the hot tub. Loved being able to do laundry and everything we needed was available to linen and toiletries. Will definitely be booking again!

Birthday get away

The home was beautiful, relaxing and everything we had hoped it would be as we celebrated my birthday. Our mornings started with coffee as we relaxed on the on porch watching for deer and other wild life. It is close to so many things but great get away from noise and crowds.

Beautiful cottage, clean and isolated

An amazing weekend retreat! The house is only 10 minutes from Boerne so easy to run into town for supplies, but at night it's just you and the crickets. The master bedroom is huge, with a desk area and couch/big TV. Hot tub on back porch was a hit. When we arrived you could smell the cleaner. Everything we needed was provided. We ran into a tiny issue with the gate and the host answered his phone and assisted immediately. There was a game room that we didn't use much but if you had kids with you it would be a hit. The only negative was the mattress quality - the master bedroom mattress jiggled quite a bit and leaned a lot over by the headboard. But the furniture throughout the house was great quality and the sitting areas were comfy and cozy. Overall a great stay and would book again!
