Two hours late being allowed into property due to it being cleaned. Upon arrival the property was disgusting and not inviting. Used band aide on the floor, dirty paper towels on holder, bottle caps left on the floor, dirty washcloth left in shower, hairs in the shower and soap dish, layers of dust on vents, and floor boards, dust and debris. No coffee maker, no hair dryer Towels were thin and dingy. They were not even hung on the towel bars just thrown in a heap on the counter. The sofa in the picture was not the sofa in the property. The sofa in the property was stained and dirty. Not a well stocked kitchen at all. Mostly old plastic grocery bags stuffed in most of the cabinets. We notified the host immediately. He said he would waive cleaning fee and have cleaners come back in the next day. We had to purchase cleaning supplies and towels just to get through the night. Which my son did not make it through. He was having surgery the next morning and just didn't feel that this place was clean enough to prepare for surgery. He ended up getting a hotel room. This will likely not make the review portion on VRBO
