Never again!!! and I am in San Angelo often.

They did not have my reserved room for me. I was told they were sold out and 2 were under maintenance. I reserved a specific type of room, knowing they were on the bottom floor which I needed due to bad knees, etc. Why do you reserve a room if you give them all out!!?? because of the time of night and being up 37 hours, I took the room she had available (UPSTAIRS DOUBLE). the room I was given turned out was being worked on, nothing was plugged in, tv had no cords connected, smoke alarm was sitting on microwave, with no batteries. paint on chairs, tape over all the outlets, security locks broken or missing, wood shelving sitting on the porch in front of the door. toilet did not flush right, sink parts sitting on counter. no trash can, and to top it off there are no batteries in the remote control. NOW the lady at the desk, was very helpful, and nice. she did bring me batteries. BUT TO NO AVAIL... the remote was to a dish receiver not to the new TV (Amazon fire TV). so, no TV either. I had already showered and put away my things when I noticed all this, and again needing to relax and go to sleep. and after I was told I should talk with my third party booking to get the room comped. I just used my phone to relax and went to sleep. Slept okay, and AC worked great. But this was the worst room in San Angelo. and worst I have been to, and I am in about 85 a year. I will report this to Hotels.com and demand my money back. I have plenty of photos if needed

The hotel needs updating. There was black mold on the shower ceiling and when I go into the room there was roaches. I would not recommend this property unless it get a big makeover. Disappointed but the clerk at front was understanding and polite.

When we walked in our room we noticed dog food on the floor (we didn’t have a dog), our shower curtain had mold on it, the neighbors next door were having a domestic dispute, the floors were dirty and the air conditioner was spitting out dust and dirt. The only good thing about our stay was the lovely women’s at the front who was kind enough to let us check out early after we found out our tournament was cancelled. I understand the neighbors situation couldn’t be helped but everything else could have been.

Room 312 Door lock jams, the refrigerator was not working, no hot warm in shower but I do have hot water to the sink, no trash cans, no soap bars & towels were yellow not white. Shower curtain was short to where the water will come out. Room 313 had had 2 yellow pillows, 1 pillow had mold stains, the phone did not work/whole cord was gone, no trash cans, none of our 4 pillows had a pillow case & shower curtain had black stains. Went notify the front office. She said there is no maintenance to fix the hot water in the shower nor door lock. Said she couldn't do anything about the pillows nor pillow cases. We requested 5 big towels. She gave 3 big towels. With small towels. This was my last option bc the rodeo was in town & my vehicle broke down. I would not recommend anyone here. No complimentary soap bars, shampoo nor toilet paper. The front desk offered to switch rooms but my kids were already asleep.

We reserved online and completed pre check in. When we arrived we had to do the check in paperwork again, show ID, card info, etc. the first room we were assigned had a broken door lock, so the door would not open. The second room was missing the battery in the smoke detector so it made a chirping noise every 45 seconds or so. The third room had not been cleaned from the previous guests. We went back to the room with the chirping alarm and the front desk staff found a new battery and replaced it. There were white stains like paint on the duvets. There were “x’s” marked on the wall in several places, maybe needing maintenance? The bottom stair to access 2nd floor was broken. There were empty bottles and spilled liquids that had since dried in the exterior halls. There were stains on the carpeting inside the room. It appeared like many of the guests may also be longtime residents of the property. It was a very good rate, so it may be more affordable than other housing in the area. Breakfast was lacking- cereal, some yogurts, apples, some cold pastries, and make your own waffles. I was expecting bacon or sausage and scrambled eggs and more options like toast and bagels, but maybe that isn’t standard or only on weekends.

Our first room was a disaster! Second room the fridge didnt work. Third room had no electricity. Our final room didnt lock at all. So anyone had access to go in our room at anytime of the day or night. I literally had to put the recliner up against our door at night so feel some type of peace.

Not suitable for families

The receptionist was nice. She gave us our keycard to the room. When we opened the door, the beds were not made, 1 soiled towel was in the bathroom. We went back and asked for a clean room. She apologized, and gave us another room. We went, uncooked it, but seemed to be locked from the inside. We went back to the office, got another room assigned, and the same the happened. Doors were unlocking with the key, but it was not allowing to go in. We decided to cancel and leave. We asked for a manager to help us with the refund. She was not available until Monday. After the prolonged wait time on the phone today, we finally got approved for a refund. This place is shady. I would not recommend for families to stay here.
