The please is always kept clean there is a attendant at 8am always. they will help to get you around. Grocery store one block away very safe. The Beach is walking distant about 10minute walk. The dislike the wifi is very slow mosquitos in the night you need a lot of spray or lotion. I really like that the kitchen is open for you to cook and save money. I recommend this place I will always stay there when I visit.

Cheap and clean posada
The posada was OK, just like the price. We had a problem with the reservation but at the end we had a small room, where we could sleep one night.

Do not waste your pennies
The only nice thing about this posada was the staff. They were nice and accommodating. But still they cannot make up for the conditions. We reserved a triple room and received a room with a full size bed (for two people) and a couch. I guess the couch was meant to count as a bed. The closet is literally an open shelf in front of the door. The bathroom is a shoebox and don't get me started on describing the shower. The water is cold (ok - it's Colombia) and there is no showerhead. The water falls out of the bare pipe like a weak waterfall. Forget about pressure. There is more expensive lodging on the island. I regret not spending a little more money for better accommodations.

Not a pleasant welcome to the Carribean
I arrived for a late check in, but emailed the hotel twice in advance about this. No problem it was said. When I got dropped off by the taxi late at night, nobody was there to let me in! I had to stand in the street for an hour and could have been robbed. I made an international long distance call, at huge cost to me to hotels.com asking for help, I was told they will contact the allocations department, was put on hold and then after 12 minutes was cut off by hotels.com! Nobody called me back and nobody emailed me either. The owner of the place did arrive after an hour and I was left in. The next morning he wanted full payment for my stay in advance, after 50% was already paid months in advance. The owner's dogs are allowed to bark at the most inopportune times, which frequently woke me up. The owner of the hotel also let himself into my room whilst I was out to turn off the aircon, explaining later that it is for environmental reasons. This despite the fact that I am extremely heat and humidity sensitive and the weatherforecast said that it felt like 36C during my stay there, which necessitated a cool room to return to. I fully realise that this is a cheap hotel, but I am not complaining about the amenities. You get what you pay for. But I do have a big problem with how that place is run and how I was treated by hotels.com

Great Location nice people
I been in the Hostal for 3 nights and the owner and staff was pretty kind to assist me in all my need . Room was perfectly clean and the idea to have the ability to prepare and cook my meals in the share kitchen and all other appliances was awesome.

Clean room with friendly family : . Small hotel with few rooms but nice home feel. No hot water which isn't far fetched in San Andrés . Did have great AC and wifi which was all we needed .
