Saturday Night Stay

One night stay room only which was very comfortable. Hotel is a grand old dame which is slightly tired in places but was very clean and with a warm welcome. The car park access should be better signposted when approaching from front of hotel. We did not experience the bistro nor bar.

Second time visit for an overnight stay in an area we used to live in. The standard rooms are large, clean, well furnished and have a big modern bathroom. Public rooms were all clean, well decorated and furnished. Didn't use Bistro but the breakfast choice was good and plentiful. Great location for touring the Dales.

The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. I can't comment on the restaurant as we ate out but overall we enjoyed our stay and its an excellent location for Ilkley and the area.

We had a deluxe room which was huge. Superking bed,refurbished bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower. For the price and location, we thought it was excellent value.

Enjoyable stay.

Beautiful hotel. Staff lovely. Room clean and comfortable. Very little staff, so they were multi-tasking, so I had to wait for a while for service at the bar for food and drink as it was the receptionist serving here too. Breakfast was lovely. Its a great location for both town and walks.

Beautiful Victorian Hotel in lovely area. Close proximity to moors and also town centre. Dining menu excellent and really enjoyed food. Very good breakfast. Bedroom very spacious and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Good hotel

The room was not as expected. It was smaller than our previous visit. We requested twin beds,but got a double and the en-suite was very small, with no form of heating,which meant we had to dry our towels in the bedroom.

Very pleasant hotel, clean and spacious and mostly very quiet. Tea and coffee making facilities in room and a bathrobe provided. The room was too warm and no thermostat on the radiator - I had the windows open throughout. On the last day, someone entered the room around 7am, despite having locked the door. I suspect a member of hotel staff, but it felt very unsafe.

Fabulous hotel outside & inside. Great welcoming from staff, friendly & approachable. Room was warm & all facilities i.e fixtures & fittings, in bedroom & bathroom were in good order. Before we explored the town, we decided to have afternoon tea, which was wonderful. The walk to main attractions/shops was easy and took approximately 10 minutes (if that). Plenty of shops/cafes/restaurants & bars. On returning to the hotel, we opted to get one of the local taxis, which only cost £3. The hotel has a bar which is reasonably priced, had a night cap then retired to our room & had a great nights sleep.
