Don’t go if you’re expecting pool amenities
This is a Super 8 that has been bought by another company. I chose this hotel specifically for their indoor pool and jacuzzi, which is closed during the year and only open in the summer. I believe they advertise to be able to enjoy watching the snow fall from the glass enclosed jacuzzi. I felt so misled. The front desk clerk did his best to appease me, but I was so disappointed and truly would have gone next door to the Comfort Inn if I had known their pool was not in use. I also couldn’t get my money back at that point. There is some building dilapidation and maybe the new corporation will update this old hotel—it’s okay for a crash pad and it’s clean enough, but I still think the Comfort Inn might be a better choice.

Cut some slack to this property. They are under renovation. The room was only 50 bucks so I’m not complaining. But know what you’re getting yourself into they advertise several pictures of their pool online. However, there’s a big sign that says closed for the season when you walk into the hotel. Like what the heck it’s an indoor pool.??? The bed was good but everything else sucked! The heater was so loud we had to turn it off. The fridge was so loud we unplugged it. The hot water in the shower did not last. The sink did not drain. They have an airport shuttle, but we didn’t use it. The people that worked there are nice the property seems pretty safe.

Staff very generally nice. Breakfast was hopelessly bad, really bad, reason given was they are no longer a Super 8 branding and have lowered price to compete but it would only raise the rate by $1 or $2 to have a decent breakfast. First room given had no bulb for lamp, given a different room with broken lamp shade, I kept it and on 3rd day in they removed it and did not replace. While it is a little beat up it is still a good value for the price if they just improved the breakfast, we would be willing to pay a bit for it for sure. Thank you
