We arrived late in the evening for check in after travelling for the day. Our host told us our room was 208 we went and opened that door only to interrupt a room that already had guests in it. We looked through our paperwork to find that it was actually room 218 and our room key opened that door as well without being reprogrammed. The next day we tried our key card on several rooms without opening doors and all doors give us the green light. As a parent with young children and a wife who travels alone this is unacceptable to give a master key to a guest. I would not stay here again

Very poor lighting, room doors are falling from hinges, no housekeeping during 3 stay. Front desk service very slow. Breakfast was disappointing so went elsewhere. Appliances in room not plugged in and had to move about room to get to elecrical service.

They would say this is a low price option however there are many basic things that could have been better managed. We had reserved 4 rooms in all and the experience below is shared amongst us all. Luckily for us, the stay was for just one night. The good (just a few) - price was low, easy access from town. The bad (the lengthier one) - the corridors were very smelly, the bedding and all the sheets / blankets were dirty and had foul smell, the bathroom linen was not clean enough, the breakfast was, what I say, ultra light (not even a light breakfast) and no juices on offer (the juice vending machine was out of order).

Seems they had some housekeeping staffing issues and the room we were sent to had not been cleaned. They quickly gave us another equivalent room, which was nice enough but areas of the floor (in the corners) were not super clean. Also there was no bathtub stopper and they told us to use a plastic bag. The free breakfast, limited as it is, was actually a nice feature and done well.

We stayed in the king suite for our Shuswap vacation. The rooms were very clean and well maintained for their age. It is an old hotel with very simple/basic amenities but the staff are very friendly and willing to accommodate any needs. The bed was very comfortable! We would return to this property based on the service we received, cleanliness & cost of this stay. Much cheaper than others in the area!

When we entered our room, I went to the bathroom. There were dirty towels in the sink and hair in the bathtub. It looked as though the cleaning had ended halfway through. The shower didn’t drain so you had to stand in a pool of dirty water. The chairs in room had big stains on them and there were cigarette burns on the chairs and on the comforter. I will give credit to the staff who responded quickly to finishing the cleaning in the bathroom and providing clean albeit still worn looking towels. The staff were apologetic but I just don’t think the owners care about meeting any standards for cleanliness, etc.

It's a basic motel but nonetheless clean and safe. The other guests are average and not scary like other motels. As clean as the bathroom is, the ceiling fan vent is layered with puff and dusts; hopefully cleaning staff will actually vacuum that.

We had to wait over an hour for our room. When the key was given to us the cleaner was still there cleaning it. Another room was allocated. It was stinking! We asked to change rooms and were informed that none were available. Have cancelled our return journey stay here. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

The room smelled like feet and the blow dryer didnt work. Breakfast was supposed to go till 9:30 and when we went at 8:30, it was almost cleaned out and no one was replenishing.
