There were some wonderful aspects and some that could be improved but overall the experience didn't live up to the price tag unfortunately. One thing to be aware of is the close proximity of the other cabins. Know that people will be walking by your cabin quite frequently. When you are in the hot tub people will be walking by you. The bedroom window also looks directly onto another cabin and their windows. On a positive note, the hot tub itself was one of the better I've used. It was hot and clean and the lights and jets were functioning well. The most concerning issue was the electric thermostat incident on New Year’s Eve, shortly after midnight. It sparked, smoked, smelled strongly of burning chemicals, and made alarming zapping noises. We had to go under the cabin ourselves to shut off the power. It was very stressful and I was honestly scared to sleep afterward. While we understand that things can happen, that incident especially impacted our ability to relax. After voicing my concern about this issue via direct message, we did not receive a response.
