Room was dated and needs refurbishing. Cracked floor tiles damaged bath panel rust on towel rail etc. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept in, you could feel the springs and it was hard. The wall sockets only worked when the lights were on, handy if you wanted to charge anything overnight. Really poor experience.

The room was freezing cold on arrival. Maintenance guy sorted it but the the second day someone turned off all our heating again and it was cold. No hairdryer in room.

The location is just stunning, and the staff are a delight. A truly lovely place, though slightly dated in that the rooms needed a slight upgrade with additions such as USB points.

Amazing position and views of the Tyne and the coast. We paid a little extra for sea views and spent hours enjoying them from our room. Very comfortable room and bed. Great choice at breakfast and evening meals offered good choice, quality and value. Staff very friendly and welcoming - we would love to return.

The Little Haven Hotel next to the beach in South Shields is clean and quiet. The High Street, Metro, and North Shields Ferry are within easy walking distance. The cost of our stay included breakfast. The variety of food options was good.

Good location next to beach. Although there were wedding parties both nights of stay, these weren't noisy and didn't affect enjoyment of stay. Breakfast on Sunday was chaotic - restaurant kept running out of food/juice etc and no booking system in place - hotel must have known it would be busy and planned accordingly. Also, replace toasters - totally inefficient
