We only speak english but it didn't matter. Mike the host was wonderful. Very hospitable. The entire town spoke enough english to get by. Honestly, great place to stay. We will be going back.. someday. Its a long way from Canada.

A lovely hotel within reasonable walking distance from the train station, on the Main Street into the old town. Only a short walk to the main square and shops and a great little place to base ourselves for exploring n and around Rothenburg on der Tauber. Breakfast had plenty of options and a lovely bonus was being able to order our eggs freshly cooked. The staff were all friendly and welcoming.

This hotel is lovely! The rooms are rustic, quiet, and clean, and the hotel staff are lovely! I checked in after hours and the instructions for me to get my room key were clear and easy to follow. The breakfast in the morning was good, the staff was absolutely lovely, and they kindly stored my luggage after check out until I left for my train a few hours later. A great spot!

It is a beautiful visit. There was no air conditioning just windows and luckily one fan. The bugs and noise were terrible with the windows open. So we didn’t sleep much but loved the city. Nice staff.
