Ridgway

We loved our stay in this mountain top home. T was remote but lovely. The view was incredible. You could see a ton of stars at night and one morning we saw a mama and baby moose in the morning. Highly recommend.

Unbeatable Views

The best view of the San Juans while enjoying our morning coffee on the deck. All amenities were well provided in the kitchen and bathroom. The open large space was perfect for my sister, Dad, and I on our Dad-Daughter vacation. The location allowed us to drive the Million Dollar Highway and explore the Ouray area during our stay. The remote location was worth the short 8 mile drive from Ridgway.

Cabin of Dreams

The cabin was exactly as shown, comfortable, kitchen with every utensil and pan and spice you need, high speed wifi with two large tvs to watch shows after the sun goes down, huge washer and dryer, nice deck, two great masters. Gas fireplaces upstairs and down. 3 showers. Clean drinking water tap. It was spotlessly clean. Wow. The property manager lives very close and answered all our questions about the area before and during our stay. In winter you need a good vehicle for snowy conditions to get there, and once there you feel like you are so remote but it's only 20 mins to town for errands, and 30 to Ouray and 60 to Telluride. We'll be back....

This house has amazing views & felt so secluded. Quiet neighborhood.I appreciated that instructions were easy to find on appliances & cupboards were marked so finding stuff in the kitchen was easy. We also liked that the driveway sensor alerted us to wildlife on the driveway.

Absolutely Winderful!

This house was the definition of perfect for us. The views were stunning and the layout could not have been better. The house is sprawling and cozy at the same time and met our every need. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Large home with oversized rooms and the most amenities of any VRBO we've ever stayed in made this home stand out! Plenty of room and comforable accommodations to spread out after a long day at Zion. This home will not disappoint!

Mountainside retreat

This is a wonderful house located on a mountainside. We sat outside on the large deck watching the hummingbirds, and the changing weather while relaxing with wine and beer. We will return to this idyllic retreat.

Peaceful and quiet 10 days.

We stayed for 10 days during our vacation to Colorado and really appreciated this home. The views were amazing from inside and outside the house. It was quiet day and night and dark enough at night to view the night sky and Milky Way. Out of all the homes we’ve ever stayed at over the years this was by far the best stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. Easy drive to Ridgway, Ouray, and Telluride. If you book it, you won’t be disappointed.

Very nice and with great views

Loved our stay. Very comfortably appointed. Beautiful views. Tucked away and private. Ample wildlife. Had a small bear come within a few feet of the deck. Definitely recommend and would certainly stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Absolutely amazing views

This was our first visit to this property, but it certainly became one of our top favorites. Reviews about this property referencing the views and cleanliness are spot on. The wide spacious windows in the living areas allow you to enjoy the views from inside the house and the upper and lower decks also provide a great place to enjoy the scenery. The area is quiet and no traffic. The entire home is clean and well kept. We plan on going back in the future.

Very peaceful. Beautiful. Would stay again.

The place was CLEAN. Host was great. And the views were the best part. Quiet. Close enough to Ouray and Telluride. On our way down we stopped by black canyon np. And we drove down the million dollar highway to mesa verde np (over three hours…but worth the drive and views on the way down. Left at 8 and got back at 5:30). Would 100 stay here again.

Great Home in Beautiful Setting

Absolutely loved this home. Spacious, clean, well appointed and the views are amazing. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs and the entire basement is like a studio apt with its own bathroom and entrance (but you can use the inside stairs like normal too). It's about a 10-15 minute easy dirt road drive from Ridgway and the views are so worth it. If I am ever back in the area, this will be the first place I will try to book.

Wow!

We can’t say how much we enjoyed our stay! The pictures in the listing do not do justice to the amazing views you can enjoy from both inside and outside the house. It was like living in a photograph. The house was great too! It had everything we needed for our stay and we were very comfortable. It was a little bit of a drive to get into town but we didn’t mind because the views along the way were amazing as well. Would love to stay here again one day and maybe experience the views in another season.

Yes the view is worth it!

Property was lovely and what was expected, the view was incredible! If you are someone who likes to enjoy where you are, like us, this place is perfect! If you want to rush to go and do constantly probably a condo in the middle of things might work better. We were there in October and it was dry so the dirt and gravel road was in good shape, dusty, but good! And fyi most of the roads in nearby locales, other than in towns, are dirt and gravel so it really shouldn’t be an issue. Just take what you need for your first night and morning, believe me you won’t want to leave your beautiful view once you get there! It was easy to visit other places from here also, we went to Telluride, Ouray, Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP as well as exploring Ridgeway and surrounding areas. Would happily recommend this place to others and hopefully can go back one day!
