After we stayed our first night, we were gone for the day and came back to the hotel in the late afternoon. We were surprised to find that our rooms had not been serviced. I was going to call the front desk to inquire, but the phone wasn't working, so I went down to the desk. I was told that phone service was being changed, so it wasn't currently working. I was also told that if we wanted clean towels we would have to bring our used ones down to the desk, and then they would replace our towels for us. I asked about trash, because our waste basket needed to be emptied, and I was told that I could bring that to the desk, too, if I wanted. I was really taken aback by this, as I've never stayed in a hotel that required their guests to bring used towels and trash to the front desk in order to get them taken care of. The hotel room was less than satisfactorily clean when we arrived - something was smudged on the bathroom wall, and there were little hairs on the bathroom floor, in the tub, and in the bathroom floor mat. That was honestly pretty disgusting. Most of the staff were friendly and polite, and I appreciated that, but I definitely would not stay here again.

Our stay was okay. However, my bed was dirty. The box spring and bed skirt were covered in large brown stains. Everything else was okay. The comforter on top looked unwashed or just stained. There were red spots on the underneath. The carpet was not vacuumed as well as it should have been. There were chip or cheeto crumbs near my bed. The staff were okay but not the friendliest. The three I saw never once smiled.

Christian, also known as Chris, was rather rude after my card was declined. He was dismissive. His coworker had to show him how to properly charge a credit card. He did not apologize. When I asked about the military discount being applied, he said that would be applied at check-out. When I checked out the following morning, the desk receptionist was unable to refund the discount and said she would have the manager apply the discount. However, there wasn't any discount applied. When I was checked in, I wasn't told any general information such as where my room was, the easiest route there, where the elevator was, or general pleasantries. I am disappointed that the hotel staff didn’t reach out or apply the discount I was guaranteed.
