Red lodge condo

The free standing condo was great , perfect location for us, clean and good amenities like extra blankets and towels . My only suggestion is in the location information it would have helped to know that although the address was on one street you actually had to turn onto another to access driveway . In the dark arrival it took a phone call to the owner to find it . The owner was easy to reach and helpful

Thus is our 2nd year staying at thus home, it is very nice, the only suggestion is the front bed room bed needs a memory foam or new mattress it was extremely uncomfortable! The home is fully stocked with everything we needed and love the big kitchen for cooking, great stay!!

Nice house. Could use a little repair work. Carpet was stained but it looked like new carpet was in garage waiting to be installed. Worked well for two couples. Location is not walkable to town but just a couple minutes drive. Probably wouldn’t intentionally stay again unless updates and repairs were made.

Worked for us

We noticed mouse droppings in the kitchen and the kitchen wasn’t very clean. The bathrooms and rest of the house were clean. We didn’t plan on cooking the days we were there so it worked. Probably would not stay here again.

Great location!

My daughter and I were in town for a wedding. This was the perfect location for us to rest and relax! The space was perfect for the 2 of us. We loved the shower in the master bathroom. The house was really clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Location Difficult to Find

The address of the property does not match the street onto which you turn to get there. When you do get there, it is a nice property. The kitchen is "fair" for cooking. The only real complaint is there were no garbage bags, baggies or some basics.

House is great. Access is lacking.

My wife and I found the home itself very nice. My complaint is with the lack of attention to preparations outside the home. When we arrived Friday evening, there was around 12 inches of snow across the entire front of the home. Snowplows had left a ridge of snow across the end of the drive as well. No efforts had been made to clear the driveway or walk to the front door. I dug a path from the street to the front door and called the local contact to have the drive cleared. He reluctantly agreed and arrived approximately two hours later. I find it unacceptable that no effort had been made to ensure access to the home. After a 3.5 hour drive, as well as at 10:30 at night, the last thing I expected was to have to shovel snow.

Short,Sweet & Easy

I booked this vrbo just days before our stay! It was clean & laid back and we loved the house. It is Nothing spectacular or glamorous, just simple & perfect for what we needed. The curb into the driveway is awful. But that is my only complaint!

Condo in the golf course

Two bedroom condo on the golf course. Great quiet location. Overall place worked for us and our family for our weekend trip to Red Lodge. The condo is in need of many updates (carpet flooring, etc....). Also has an ant infestation. The bed we slept on was pretty uncomfortable. Overall the condo is in a great location if you want peace and quiet and be near the golf course. The condo itself is okay, needs some work but overall worked for us. Definitely nothing fancy.

Great home base in Red Lodge

We enjoyed our stay very much in this home in Red Lodge. It was very comfortable and clean. The open floor plan was very nice and there was lots of room in the kitchen to prepare food while still having conversations. About the only issue we had was that Google Maps took us around the corner, and it would have been nice to have a heads up with that since we arrived in the dark.

Nice space and good location; don’t recommend Evolve Property Management

The house was nice and seems fairly new. The kitchen could have been better appointed compared to other rentals we’ve stayed in, and there was no bath soap in the master bath. We left a cell phone charger in the bedroom, stopped by later in the day after checkout to retrieve it and it was already gone. Nothing against this particular property, but the management company, Evolve, is terrible. All communication is electronic only despite their advertised phone number; no way to talk to a real human until we were emailed the on-site manager’s contact info just before checking in.

Great Potential but Poor Execution

Our stay started off on the wrong foot. We arrived late after driving over 800 miles. We couldn't find the address! The address said XXX Street #5. I found units 1-4 in the dark with a flashlight wondering if I was going to get shot or arrested by shining a light at the front porch of various houses. I finally thought to drive around the corner onto YYY Drive and there was Unit #5 (I have a picture of the street signs). When we got inside we weren't sure if the unit had been cleaned. The bedding was piled on the beds. We called the host who led us to believe the cleaning service had just forgot to put the bedding on. So we did so because we were exhausted. We also found a stack of towels on the washer, some of which were still wet. We weren't sure if they just didn't get dried so we washed them just in case. The next morning as we prepared to leave for the day the cleaning service came by and informed us the unit had NOT been cleaned and we had just slept on dirty sheets - in the middle of a Pandemic! Other annoying issues were that the towels were threadbare, the Master Bedroom curtains were just a shear with another unit across the open yard with visibility into the bedroom. Also, we had to trudge downstairs to the unlit and unfinished basement (noted as Authorized Access Only) to get trash bags and more towels. Why wouldn't these be stocked upstairs? Also, there were no instructions on how to open the bear-proof trash bin in the garage. All we could do is leave the bags next to the can. Not everyone has bear-proof trash bins. The sad part is that this could have been a great stay. The property itself was very nice, the neighborhood was quiet and it was 3 minutes to Downtown. It comes down to poor management. If the Host cannot get reliable cleaning services then take the property off the market! Also, a small investment in some new towels and a decent drape from Walmart would have left a much better impression.

Beautiful home

Great pllace, and layout. Would be perfect for entertaining a small group. Location was close enough to town and far enough away from the bustle. The house was tidy, had a Christmas theme throughout and stocked with plates, Christmas designed glasses, utensils, bedding, board games .. the comforts of home. The master bath shower is amazing! Bedding and pillows were comfortable. I did note a few cleaning issues, but nothing of great concern. Full garage available for indoor parking is a great feature.

Property Comments

The property felt as if unoccupied since Christmas. Decorations were still out, making us wonder whether anybody was there since December. This being stated, house had plenty of room and was in a good location. We would stay here again.

Needs updates!

The location of the property was great. Just far enough away from the downtown area, but close enough to get there easily! Unfortunately, the furnishings and amenities need some serious updating and investing in!!! Where to start...the beds are so uncomfortable it was impossible to sleep through the night without constantly waking up from either how uncomfortable they were or the squeaking from the cheap headboard! Nothing but ultra sheer blinds in the master, so if your looking for privacy or anything to cut the light out when trying to sleep, it’s not going to work in master bedroom. The guest bed was just as uncomfortable. The kitchen is anything but well stocked! Not enough dishes or variety of dishes for use. Cookware was very old and losing the coating on them. Utensils were sparse. We could not get the gas fireplace to work and eventually gave up! Screen door handle on back porch door is broken and not much to speak of for patio furniture. Carpets could use a good cleaning as well. It’s unfortunate to see houses like these not maintained properly, but just wrong to represent them as well maintained and amply stocked when there clearly not. Unfortunately we would not recommend this property for all these reasons.
