The property and room was fine. The parking was across a “highway,” so very inconvenient. Our room was on the main floor and next to the highway, so it was very noisy. The windows and walls were poorly insulated for noise control. There was a door between our room and the next. There was a 1” gap at the bottom of the door. You could see into the room next door so…. they could see into your room also if they wanted. Did not make me feel uncomfortable. The gap also did not help with noise control.

Nice hotel but parking is very tight.

Nice hotel in Deadwood. the only glitch was the condition outside the hotel when we arrived. I got out of my car and stepped into melted snow and slush. I wish they had cleaned this tip for their guests. The parking was very tight, but at least they had their own lot that filled up so we did not move our car, which limited some of the places we wanted to check out.

Winter Retreat

Fantastic location for walking about and browsing downtown! However, the corner room that we had faces the street and was very noisy all night long. But overall, great stay and location and friendly staff!
