The VRBO itself was nice, clean, and exactly as described by the host. My issue is not with the unit or the host but with the neighbors in the apartment above. I understand this is an apartment complex and some noise is to be expected, but what we experienced was excessive and made our stay very difficult.Each night, starting around 1am and lasting until morning, a child upstairs would run in circles nonstop. This wasn’t a one-time thing—it happened all three nights of our stay. It felt like the parents weren’t even awake, as the noise was never addressed. If you’re a light sleeper or value rest, this will be a serious problem.On top of that, the neighbors smoked weed constantly, so the smell carried down into our unit. Lastly, there were frequent loud arguments. One night, an especially disturbing fight took place on the balcony, where a woman (the grandmother) was shouting at the adult male, telling him to stop dealing drugs and to take care of his kids.Overall, the host did a great job with the space itself, but the upstairs neighbors made our 3-night stay extremely unpleasant. Unless the neighbor situation changes, I can’t recommend this place to anyone who plans to sleep at night or is sensitive to noise and smoke.
