The refrigerator was broken and didn’t get cold at all. Some of the furniture inside the room was super sticky and smelly. The bathroom had holes in the wall. There were stains all over the carpet. The trash was not emptied from the previous guest. The stove and microwave was encrusted with food and still dirty. Half of the lights were burnt out or didn’t work. The breakfast was grab and go style with prepackaged muffins or chewy bars and burnt coffee. The hotel appearance is older which is not a problem but the interior was dark and unwelcoming.

The people were nice. The bed and bathroom was clean. The carpet had not been cleaned, it was filthy, in the room and the halls. The building was fine but it needed some painting. If we had planned to stay more than one night we probably wouldn't have. I was told I would get my check out by email on Saturday morning. Haven't received it yet.

Disappointing to Say the Least...

Pros: Proximity to my final destination.
Cons: Appearance, comfort, ambiance, attitude, customer service...
Location: Great shopping and restaurants and professional locations (NCHA)
Upon arriving at the hotel, I was in a line of five other people as we waiting for an employee to arrive at the front desk. When I walked to my room, I was required to lug my large suitcase up half a flight of stairs and then back down a whole flight (which was a very unnerving space - dimly light and very narrow; if you met another person on the stairs one of you would have to go back to the top or bottom). The lighting in the hallways was a dim yellow and was beyond uninviting. The room itself was sparse and not inviting in any way; only one sad picture and a mirror hung on the walls. Any dishes/cups/etc. had to be ordered and were not available in the room itself. An odd odor like old chopped onions hung in the room and when I opened the cabinet under the sink, I found a garbage can full of trash (including food). I placed this in the hallway and went to look for an ice machine. When I couldn't find one, I went back to the front desk (again having to use the creepy stairwell). I was informed that there was no ice machine and guests were expected to empty their own trash by taking it outside to the dumpster. I was not pleased and the clerk told me she would handle it since it wasn't my trash. At 10pm that night, the clerk knocked on my door and told me she had emptied my trash, then asked, "Oh, did I wake you up?" It was a staff trend apparently, as it happened again early the next morning when maintenance tried to access the room, but couldn't because I had ...

Nasty Hotel

Unfortunately I had a long term stay at this hotel. The room was nasty upon my arrival, the sheets and towels were nasty with stains and had hair on them. I complained to management but nothing was ever done about it. The entire hotel had an awful odor to it; at times it was breathtaking. The police were always there on calls. It felt very unsafe and shady. There was a homeless person sleeping in the lobby at night for months. Management was totally aware of this. The hotel was filthy! It was a horrible experience. I recommend staying in a tent before you stay here. The management , corporate, and the staff were VERY unprofessional and dense. Corporate did not even respond to an email voicing my concerns! This place needs to be bulldozed.

I will never stay here again-Ever!

I have stayed in several StudioPlus properties. They were all nice. I was very happy when I saw this property listed as a choice for my weekend trip to Cary, NC. I was not prepared for the horrible service I'd receive. We checked in late. We walked in the lobby at 11:30pm. The night clerk was already fumbling with one irritated guest, checking in. The night clerk didn't finish with this guest & get to us until 11:45pm. No apology for the delay. She looked up my reservation & then aksed for payment. I informed her the room was paid for online. She argued that it wasn't even as I gave her my confirmation code. I then asked her to call her manager. She did and the manager told her to check us in. She didn't apologize, again, for her ignorance. She then asked what company I worked for as a part of the registration. I asked her why that mattered since it was booked for personal use. She then said she needed to know & ""You don't have a job?"" I was pissed by now. I told her I do work and it was none of her business. We finally got in the room shortly after midnight. There were ants in the room, it was unbearably hot . We called back to the front desk and the clerk said she didn't know how to transfer us to the management voicemail. We left around 3am, completely aggravated and disgusted. I will NEVER stay here again.
