Worst VRBO experience

This home has real potential it is centrally located, spacious, and could be a lovely place to stay. However, our experience was deeply disappointing and concerning, mostly due to the host’s behavior and maintenance of the home The house was dirty upon arrival The floors unswept, carpets not vacuumed, couches stained.The outdoor grounds were completely unkept.I have pictures of the dirty, moldy bathroom shower curtains and Unvacuumed carpet There’s also safety concerns if you arrive in the evening the host does not leave a porch light on even after we asked him to so our Uber driver had to shine his headlights so that we can see the code to open the doorThere are security cameras all around, including inside the house, which seems invasive and inappropriate but we didn’t mind Despite all of this, we had no choice but to stay as we were visiting North Carolina for my nieces,wedding.To make things worse, the host’s communication was rude, hostile, and deeply unprofessional RUN away from this listing

Wish We around This House Sooner

Just stayed in this incredible house for our family gathering to attend our daughter's graduation from UNC. It was just perfect. The house is light and bright with lots of windows and had plenty of room for our family to gather and relax. It was very clean. It's in a lovely, private wooded area but close to everything. We would have stayed here for every visit to see our daughter if we found it sooner. And the private pickleball court is the icing on the cake. I highly recommend staying here!

Festival Stay

We had a great time in the house. It is a lovely home and the location was great. The only negative thing was we would have loved to sit out on the screen porch and enjoyed the nice weather but it was covered in pollen. I understand it's that time of year but would have liked to have that cleaned to be able to enjoy it. Overall happy with stay.

Solid accommodations very near to Duke campus

comfortable for 7 adults, updated kitchens and bath; bedrooms are thoughtfully decorated. pickleball court as advertised and is definitely a highlight.Stocked supplies and grounds maintenance not as good as other vrbos we have used in the area.

Picture perfect!

My husband, daughter and our friend and his daughter stayed at this lovely house! We came in for the Tarheals season opener. I chose this house because it had a pickle ball court, and it didn’t disappoint! It’s as adorable as it is in the pictures! The pickle ball court was in great condition, and they had paddles and balls there too! The only thing that could have made it better is a hot tub for after playing! lol I’d definitely pick this place again! Also, the communication was amazing!

Fantastic Home w/Pickleball Court That's Private But Close to Everything

This is a fabulous house whether you like Pickleball or not. It is in a wonderful location -- close to everything you need but when you drive up to the house you are in a private wooded area (there are neighbors but you can't see them or their house). The home has been updated and it's clean and uncluttered. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of space to relax. The property is very large and pretty but you don't even need to go outside to enjoy it since there are so many beautiful windows in every room. If you are a Carolina or Duke fan you will appreciate the sophisticated decor representing each school. If you like Pickleball you will ABSOLUTELY LOVE this house with its private Carolina/Duke PB court in the back. They even have paddles and balls. Our family stayed here to visit our daughter (UNC). It was a perfect house and we played PB every chance we could. Cody was super responsive, helpful, and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Our daughter is a senior and we live in CO - I wish this house had been available when she was a freshman because we would have booked it for every visit. We have already booked it for our next visit and we can't wait to come back!

Short but sweet stay
