Nice

Truly enjoyed our stay here. Very spacious room with roof top view. Beautiful pools, decor, and vibes. Nice tiki bar and outdoor furniture. Buffet nice. Reservations for the two different restaurants on resort is a joke. Service okay. Beware of fake Bruno Mars in kahki shirts. Ther appears during breakfast and lunch. There joke is to get you into the glass office by the pool. They call it the "welcome package." We kept saying no, but was eventually hunted down. We still refused once in. We just wanted to relax and enjoy their country. Enjoy our honeymoon. Enjoyed the food and entertainment.

I would recommend doing the spa they have. It was amazing. It felt like I was in a totally different atmosphere. After we were done they gave us a goodie bag with some massage oil, body wash and a body scrub. I loved it. I would do it again if I had enough time. I spent most of my time tanning at the beach. Every night they put on a show and get everyone involved which was fun. You will eventually become friends with rh entertainment group cause they're so funny. They just want you to have a good time.

LUXURY ON THE BEACH

Pros: THE CONDOS ON THE BEACH AND SERVERS.
Cons: ELEVATORS,FRONT LOBBT STAFF, POWER OUTAGES, NO LAUNDRY FACILITY.
Location: NOT MUCH TO DO NEARBY BY OTHER THAN THE COCO BONGO NIGHTCLUB/SHOW AND MALL BUT THEY HAVE TOURS THAT CAN BE BOOKED.
THIS RESORT WAS UPSCALE AND BEAUTIFUL!!!! THEY UPGRADED OUR ROOM TO A 3 BEDROOM, 2 BATHROOM CONDO AS A SURPRISE :) MY ONLY COMPLAINTS ARE THERE IS NO WIFI IN CONDOS,CHARGE$15 PER DAY FOR ROOM WIFI AND $1 LOCAL CALL,$10 INTERNATIONAL CALLS. THE ELEVATORS ARE SMALL, NO LUNDRY FACILITY,LOBBY STAFF WERE SNOBBY AND HAD ATTITUDES, THEY KEPT FORCING TIME SHARES AND OTHER SERVICES ON US AND THE POWER AT THE RESORT WENT OUT 3 TIMES... OTHER THAN THESE MINOR THINGS IT WAS A SPACIOUS AND BEAUTIFUL PLACE!!! THE WORKERS ARE POLITE AND TREATED US LIKE ROYALTY!!! HOWEVER, TOWARDS THE LAST FEW DAYS OF OUR VACATION HOUSEKEEPING GOT LAZY AND WOULD NOT CLEAN OUR CONDO AS REQUESTED TO FRONT/LOBBY DESK STAFF.

Nice, small resort.

Pros: I liked the free upgrade. Their resturants were great and the staff was super friendly and enjoyable to be around. Like it was small and easy.
Cons: Buffet food needs work. I also didn't like being forced to sit through a speech about buying a time share. Casino is not free!
Location: Beach was beautiful. Lobby offered tons of activities. I reccomend the dolphin swimming!
Room: Was upgraded without asking. Big penthouse - private roof top. 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living/dining area. Was beautiful. Bed and pillows were a little uncomfortable. Felt like the bathroom shower was going to overflow sometimes and did. Beach/Pool: Very beautiful, private, and small. Instead of chairs they have beds and lounge chairs already placed. Staff brings towels and constant food and drinks can be ordered. Two free form pools between buildings. Lobby: No gift shop or snack area. They have some guys selling jewlery and pictures. They HOUND you, try to avoid them. They watch you come by on the cart when they give you the initial tour and then spot you going to the beach and will harrass you into buying something. LATER one of the guys actually asked my boyfriend for his SHOES, saying we can afford them and he can't. Like what!? I reported it to the lobby. Entertainment: Nightly entertainment. We didn't watch much since we went to bed early but the circus show was great. Typically have a movie on right around dinner before the entertaiment for kids. They also have a kids area for them to play in near the pool. Didn't like that they have a casino and sports bar that isn't part of the resort. Food: 3 resturants that were great. Buffet food - eh. Eatable but could do better. Buffet changes nightly which was cool. Overall: Nice resort. Not really for singles or couples.Relaxing and small.

No extra tip no service ...

This is an all inclusive hotel, that means grat is included. I usually travel about 4-5 times a year and stay in all inclusives. The service in PS was terrible. I came unprepared (only big bills) and asked for change in front desk... No one in the entire hotel had change there for I couldnt "extra tip" therefore my service was terrible. Staff would make me wait extra when it wasn't reallh busy and gave me attitudes. I would ask for lime and they would point out where it was as opposed to bringing it to me while I was dinning. One night I tipped the bartender And after that he gave me so much attention. It was all fake. I was going to Tip them all at the end but they completely ruined my entire experience. I went to the magic show and waited 20 min to be approached for a drink order. People next to me were being serviced. Completely a waste of my time and money. Not to mention the big pool was out of service during my entire stay. NEVER AGAIN

Presidente Suites did NOT honor full contract

Pros: The suites were very nice and the beach was beautiful.
Cons: Better customer service. Tell the staff that is trying to sell timeshare to quit harassing the guest. We were there to vacation & relax!
Location: Location was Ok.
Arrived on the 10th at resort only to find out that Presidente Suite did not have a room available for us. Forced us to stay next door at Vista Sol for two nights. Room at Vista Sol was one big hot stinky room. The ceiling in the bathroom collapsed the second day at Vista Sol due to a water leak from room above ours. We're moved to another room that was just as hot and stinky. After arguing with Presidente Suites we were finally given a suite late afternoon on the 12th. we asked for compensation due to missing two nights there but they wouldn't. Said it was Travelocity's fault for booking us when they were already overbooked.

Excellent service staff!!!!!

Pros: Service and entertainment staff
Cons: More restaurants, more food variety and more consistent message on how and when to make reservations.
Location: I would not recommend leaving resort except to walk the beach or have the resort drive you to local shopping mall
The accommodations are average and the food was good but limited options for restaurants unless you are a planner and want to make reservations in advance. For what we paid, this was a great trip. We were not big on the whole VIP sales and it did kind of suck to have such obvious ellivated accommodations for the VIP guest but once you passed the hotel and hit sand, the staff were amazing! We met so many wonderful, talented individuals during our stay. They all new our names and some even had endearing knick names for us. The entertainment staff Gabriel, Sylvia and Mildred were among my favorites but there were many more we helped make our stay a blast. The bartending staff were also wonderful and were very responsive to our needs...very rarely did our glasses get completely empty before they were making us a new one. Santos and Jose were among my favorites!!!! Overall, if you don't want to spend a lot and are really wanting a fun and relaxing environment to drink in, this resort would be a fit for you. If you are picky about your accommodations and expect a solid variety of good food, you may want to pass. If you go, sat hi to all the folks Named above for us! Susie & Willie
