The resort was okay. Food was not good. Restaurant’s needed reservations which were impossible to book. On the last two days the water stopped working for a long period of the day and the water doesn’t get hot. There was a leak in our closet and a hole in the ceiling of the bathroom.

Our room was disgusting, the fruit plate that was left in our room was moldy. The bathroom was dirty, urine in the toilet that had a sanitized label attached. The housekeeping swept glass onto the grass from a patio without regard for people walking barefoot next to the pool.

Property was very clean. Obviously they work keep it up. Most of the staff was friendly. They played a shell game when it came to getting into the specialty restaurants. The beach and the rooms were very nice. We felt safe and comfortable. We have been to Punta Cana five times. The Food and Liquor were lacking here. But, this may have to do with the current economy and coming out of the covid situation. So I can have empathy with them for some of that. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. It would not be my pick to go back again., but only because of some better experiences at other resorts. Many people will read this and consider it a negative review. It is not.

Pros: The property is kept clean. The Cleaning Staff cleans the room and bathrooms very well. The workers outside are always raking the leaves and making sure the resort remains clean everyday. Cons *some of the cons may be due to changes during the pandemic.This resort should be labeled as a non-English Speaking location for the sake of the staff. It made communication very difficult at times. The buffet area needs some organizing and reformatting. The food is mostly the same and there are not enough utensils. Instead of the guests ask for another utensil they use the same for both foods and end up making a mess for everyone else. There weren't any printed labels for the food, it was hand written on the glass instead. Please set up a drink station where the guest can get their own water/ soda/tea or coffee. Due to limited staff I had to wait till I was almost done with my food before someone offered water. Again limited staff could be due to pandemic and not the staff's fault. The tables should have numbers, that way when you are greeted by the host they can assign you a table making it easier for the waiters to assist the guest with drink orders (alcohol/wine). If they decide to change the items in the buffet they should have that info in the guest rooms letting them know what will be the menu. Please add more Hispanic foods, I was looking forward to trying some new things but there were plenty of stations with items that were unnecessary.
