Great Place for Those Looking to Explore the City

My friend and I wanted to spend a week exploring the city rather than spending all of our time at a resort, and this place was definitely a great choice. The property is managed by a nice couple who lives on the bottom level of the property. Above them, there are two rooms which they have for guests. I stayed in the Gecko Suite, which I thought was a nice amount of space for two people. If you want to pay for some breakfast in the morning, they do offer to make you some pancakes, waffles, etc. as long as you ask for it at least the day before. I can't say how good the food is, since my friend and I just wanted to eat Mexican food the whole time we were there. It was still nice to have, thought.Overall, I don't really have anything bad to say about staying here. I would note that this place is a little far away from some of the popular tourist areas, especially Zona Romantica. I would encourage anyone staying here to take the hour-ish walk down there at least once (and to try to take back roads, because the main ones get smoggy). There's a beautiful city to explore which a lot of tourists don't take the time to see. Just be careful walking on the cobblestone streets.Otherwise, you'll probably have to take a few Ubers while staying here, since walking every day can get tiring. But with the amount of money I spent staying here and the cheap cost of Uber in Mexico, I didn't mind at all paying for a ride every now and then.

Mexican Charm & hospitality

A beautiful mexican home in a traditional Mexican neighborhood in walking distance to lots of great restaurants and anything else you may need. The hosts were exceptionally attentive to make sure our stay was good! Will definitely return!
