Friendly staff and owner. Incredible restaurant for dinner. A very unique property.
The view from the hotel is fantastic and you can walk to zone romantics in ~10 minutes. There is always a noise (people talking or traffic noise from motorists) at the midnight which woke us several times,
The staff are so kind and always attentive to needs and requests. Great rooms and amazing views. Just the walk up the road and stairs are the only downfall of this amazing place. We will be back.

The proximity to the romantic zone was good. This has to be one of the most interesting hotels that I’ve stayed in related to its design among other things. Walking to the property is a challenge due to its location up on a hill. After climbing hills, you have to climb stairs to get to your room because the elevator is extremely slow and loud and only takes you to the 2nd floor. The walls are thin and you can hear people snoring or talking in their rooms. You mostly see guests when the restaurant is open. It’s usually a ghost town. The front gate gets locked down early and you have to figure out how to unlock it with the key. None of this was explained by the staff. I rarely saw staff. I did like that my room was a penthouse with a wraparound terrace with an amazing view of the water and the city.
Stayed here for 10 days. The whole hotel and rooms are very clean. Breakfast included with fruits, yogurt, bread, coffee, tea, cereal and hard boiled eggs. Great view of ocean from pool balcony and restaurant. A nice view of the mountains from room. During my stay I didn’t notice much staff being constantly available if I needed anything, which for me is not an issue, but if your looking to be waited on throughout the whole day you will not find that here. If I did need something I had to text the owner who did a good job at responding. Wifi was weak in the room until I contacted the owner and he had me hook up to the room wifi and then the wifi was very strong. Wifi very strong in restaurant and pool area as well. Pool looked clean and taken care off. Now the first day we stayed was not good at night. There was younger people partying all night long out our window until about 3am. I seen the cops drive by and then it was quiet. BUT I will say after that night for the rest of the trip it was nice and quiet. And i noticed its possible the owner had hired some security at night to help keep it quiet. Beds are comfortable. The hill up to hotel is a good incline. Ubers had no problem picking up and dropping off. The walk up the hill isn’t too bad but if your older or have walking issues I would recommend a car service. The road can be very uneven and steep. My favourite thing was all the different plants and flowers around the hotel. So beautiful.
Hello.... Be prepared to climb a steep hill and climb steps, but once inside, you will find calm and quiet with great views! The restaurant and bar is spectacular!
It was very relaxing and comfortable. The hotel and restaurant were exceptional and friendly The view is amazing. We have recommended it to several friends.

Pool needed some maintenance and the “jacuzzi” wasn’t working.
Casa Isabel is a hidden gem, secluded and quiet with a fantastic view of Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay. Walkable to town and back but the hill is a workout! Our first few days we hardly saw anyone, like having the place to our selves. Jonathan and his staff were very helpful. The restaurant is always reliable and the authentic Mexican decor beautiful. We will be back!
The property although hard to reach on foot ( many hills and many steps… no elevator
is a really wonderful location. The problem we experienced was kids on m very loud motercycles would TACE up and down the hill
and stop in front of the property every night mid nite or or later
The view is amazing! Very close to the Romantic Zone and the beach. A big con is you have to cross a very busy highway to get to those things and it can be kind of treacherous. You will also burn a lot of calories walking up and down the hill if you dont use taxi or ubers. But overall we loved being tucked away in a more quiet area with a spectacular view.
There is a coffee maker included in the room, but no coffee or filters. I wish we had known that! We went out every morning to get coffee.
Bring close toed shoes, the cobble stone streets and hills arent condusive to sandals.
