The property has gone downhill since new owners. Room was not as requested, requested a bottom floor due to limited accessibility was given a second floor when we asked again it was changed to bottom floor but seemed inconvenient and on other side of property. Lots of unwanted guests roaming the location and was not sure vehicle would be safe. All vending machines have been removed from stairwells as before very convenient to one at the entrance. Room did not have any ice bucket no microwave( one on second floor hallway) was given only 2 towels for 3 people. The hot tub was no longer used w Hu ice was upsetting. If it had not already been a long day we would have gone elsewhere. The room was clean enough but will not stay again. Read the reviews they are not wrong.

The hotel is older which is why I only have a 4-star to reflect some decline. We found it clean and everyone was friendly. There were no problems except we had no bathtub plug and only one facecloth for two people but otherwise the price was good for what you get and it’s always a pleasure to spend time in the main area with all the plants and the little creek and bridge etc. we were disappointed the hot tubs have been removed and be forewarned there is no elevator.

Extra money for pets for extra cleaning haha

We have dogs they have you pay $20 a dog per night so hotel is $129 almost half the price to stay in this hotel. I ask why they charge so much (I know why) she says to give it extra clean and get the allergens out of the room. We go in and under table next to the door if you just moved a chair was a dog treat and hair all over so I go back with the treat and picture to ask if I’m paying $46 this night to stay in a room that needs extra cleaning because of dogs why isn’t it clean. She said she’d ask the manager what to do. She calls my room and says they’ll only charge for one dog I said no should be charged nothing if it’s to be extra clean when giving this money for dogs. This isn’t the only hotel that you pay $20, $25, even $35 a pet per night and you go into the room and there isn’t any extra cleaning. I’m just sick of it.

Our wake up call was 25 minutes late, the hotel is old and the updates done are poorly done, There is an East Indian restaurant in the building so all rooms have a curry scent, though not overwhelming it permeates everything. I had to give her my credit card and she charged me again, even though I had my reservation paid, she said it was for security, I was going for surgery so I did have my credit card and DL but when I told her I paid .. there was Drama. Breakfast closes at 930 which is too early because by 9 many thing had been cleared away

Room was clean. But it doesn’t have your setting for the temperature on each room. Air conditioning was cranked. It was absolutely freezing in the room. When I asked about it, she said she would turn it down a few degrees. But it wasn’t enough. I asked again. And it still wasn’t enough. Not sure if she even did anything. Also this hotel is a rough neighborhood of the city. And only has one entrance/exit to use so very inconvenient when your room is on the other side of the building.
