LOVE THE OLDEST HOTEL IN PORTLAND!

This was a last minute reservation, we were lucky to get the last room. My friend and i came to see the Rose and Japanese Garden. Tim was very helpful at check in and Anthony was wonderful helping us with parking and luggage. Beautiful hotel and the best bed and linen I've had in a long time! Beekman 1802 products were appreciated. Great recs for Indian food for dinner (East India up the street) and Cheryl's for breakfast around the corner. We'll definitely stay here again when my husband and i come back.

The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable, even with a little kitchenette. They have happy hour daily. The staff are very friendly. The only down side which is not their fault, is the homelessness and noise late in the night and early morning.

Cute hotel. Nostalgic feel but not too "old." Exposed, painted brick in the rooms looked nice. Bedding was super soft and comfortable. Robes were very comfortable. Liked the kitchenette. Air conditioning in the rooms worked really well - even though it was very warm out, rooms were nice and cool. Gym was lacking a little and warm. Daily wine hour was a nice add. Staff was nice and helpful.
