Great place in the heart of downtown Portland,

The gentleman who checked us in was amazing and got us a room even when AC was down in some of the hotel. Beds are super comfy and the room was very clean.

Nice room, nice shower, great water pressure, very walkable convenient location and close to transit options if walking isn’t for you. Staff was nice and rooms were pretty well soundproofed. Mattresses could be a lot comfier but I’d consider staying here again.

Food options on weekend very poor because the hotel coffee shop was closed all weekend making it necessary to pay full breakfast buffet price if you just wanted something small. Nearby businesses all closed on Sunday nearby as well. A/C on entire floor broke down and we had a very hot night one night and had to move rooms the next morning.

Property was clean and room was nice. We did not eat or drink anything from Hotel so can not comment on that. As far as Booking, was a little different from what we were first given. Booked a room with a sofa couch and view of river is what it said on Expedia. We received a room on the 4th Floor with no view of the river and no sofa couch/bed as we booked. Went to front desk and spoke with Jack. He made it right by placing us in a room with the couch/bed as we needed it for your son. He also moved us to a room with a clear view of the river as stated when we booked. Make sure and read the parking situation as the Valet did not explain it very well to at all. (Glad I looked ahead of time) Yes you must pay for Valet and they charge you for oversized vehicles. Only other issue I have, but most hotels are now doing this (BOO) Maid service is only every other day and was not even an option for daily service. (I asked) That always is a negative point with me as when traveling that is part of the experience is clean and fresh linen daily. Overall I would stay again at this property.
