Rooms are reasonably clean, but the bed and pillows are very, very uncomfortable! There’s no AC in the common areas, and because of the high humidity there is noticeable smell of mold coming from the carpeted hallways. If they get rid of that ugly, green carpet the whole hotel will look (and smell) differently.
The breakfast is really basic — for the price they charge, there should be more options.
The location is good, though — close to the marina, stores, and restaurants, with a taxi station right in front of the building. There’s also a very good ironing room (1st floor) with a quality iron and ironing board. Yes, it’s a bit annoying to go from the 5th floor all the way down to the 1st to iron one blouse, but that’s manageable for a few days. Overall, you can expect a basic hotel — nothing extraordinary.
