At the foot of Polignac’s ancient fortress, this 18th-century farmhouse, now called La Gourmantine, welcomes you. Like the village itself, the guesthouse blends into a striking landscape of gray basalt and red tiles, watched over by the fortress ruins—a reminder of the once-powerful Polignac family.



Once you’ve settled into one of La Gourmantine’s rooms—where contemporary style meets carefully restored historic features like large wooden beams—you’ll be drawn to explore the keep, ramparts, and walkways overlooking the Puy basin, as well as the fortified houses and church.



The Rivage room can be arranged with a double bed or two singles (90 x 200 cm) upon request.
