Belle demeure mais une literie à bout de souffle

La maison a un très grand potentiel mais elle nécessite un changement complet de la literie (sauf 3 lits) , un ménage à fond , un contrôle de l'état de marche des ampoules. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour malgré ces bémols

A unique visit

This is a charming house of great character set in a in very large parkland with freedom to roam. The stunning beach is a 10 minute walk - or you can get kids and equipment nearly there by car. This unique property is a large house with a welcoming feel. It has not been generally modernised and thus retains its character. This is reflected in the modest price for a property of this size. The bedrooms all share facilities with showers and baths functioning well but becoming dated. The main kitchen (ground floor) is well equipped although small for a house this size. There is a second kitchen on the first floor which we did not use (save for the large fridge) but also seemed well equipped. The top floor double bedroom, light and spacious, could be a quiet retreat for a couple and has a kettle and microwave. The dining room is a wonderful room full of light with a long table easily seating 15. At the end of it is a wider part of the room with pool table (not made much use of by us). For one week of our holiday, we comprised a group of singers and instrumentalists with this large room providing a brilliant space in which to play. The non-musicians could retire in the evening to play bridge in the large entrance hall with its tables and chairs. Outside, the long modern table and chairs could be easily moved to the shade of the beautiful trees across the grass; and the sun (can't be promised of course) could be enjoyed sitting in the comfortable recliners and deck-chairs. The property forms part of a very large park/estate which is owned only by members of a large extended family. There are no fences and residents are free to walk or bicycle nearly anywhere. It gives a great sense of freedom and space. Madame Bal (who lives in Paris but also occupies the small former garage further along the driveway) was there to welcome us. She is a charming and gracious person although with limited English. We found the website slightly unclear but that has now been remedied. It would be sensible to clarify any matters which you do not feel are clear. We had a five-star holiday to which the house contributed a huge part of the enjoyment.

Das Haus ist sehr schoen . Aber leider waren sehr viele Sachen defekt. Internet und Fernsehen gingen nicht. In einem Badezimmer war viel Pils.Das Haus war sehr alt eingerichtet dh sehr speziel. Es hat uns sehr gefallen.Wir mussten nur 10 Minuten zum Strand laufenDer Garten ist sehr gross und schoenLeider wuerden die Mietkonditionen nach Vertragabschluss geaendert.Die Putzfrau wollte fuer die Reinigung der Betten Euro 30 pro Bett haben. Fuer uns waeren es gewesen extra Euro 360 fuer die Putzfrau.FeWo hat sehr gut reagiert.Wir muessen die Euro 360 nicht bezahlen.Sonst kann ich das Haus sehr gut empfehlen

Weekend familial

Maison de famille dans un lieu superbe pour des moments bonheur

Les proprietaires ainsi que la personne chargee de l'accueil et de l'entretien sont absolument charmants et flexibles (dans la limite de leurs autres engagements, bien sur!). C'est un lieu ideal pour reunir famille et amis et y partager des moments tous ensemble ...tout en permettant a chacun de vivre sa vie. Le parc est beau et la plage a proximite superbe. Les sanitaires et literie ont ete refaits, ce qui a permis a notre groupe de jeunes soixantenaires de passer un sejour confortable. Tout le monde etait enchante! Merci beaucoup pour ce sejour memorable.

Un séjour mémorable

Nous venons de quitter à regret notre location à plouescat où nous nous étions retrouvés en famille pour une cousinade. La maison est immense et très spacieuse nous étions 14 et il y avait largement la place de nombreuses chambres plusieurs salles de bains une immense salle à manger plusieurs coins salons un poêle à bois un billard des livres par Centaines partout. Très confortable pour une demeure ayant le charme de l’ancien. Quant à l’extérieur le parc est immense avec des jeux extérieurs pour les enfants et la maison est à deux pas de l’océan avec une place superbe. Roscoff et l’île de batz sont tous proches également.

Séjour agréable en famille

Une semaine de vacances dans une très grande maison familiale, chargée d'histoire. Le parc est magnifique et très spacieux pour que petits et grands se retrouvent. La mer n' est vraiment pas très loin a pieds La propriétaire des lieux venue nous accueillir a fait le nécessaire pour que nous passions tous un séjour ressourçant. Nous avons tous envie d'y revenir.

Très belle demeure dans un parc magnifique à 500m d'une plage de sable fin et mer turquoise. Nous avons apprécié la grande salle à manger et son salon où notre groupe d'amis s'est réuni pour des repas animés, bonne humeur et rires tout au long de la semaine (quelques fauteuils délabrés devraient être cependant enlevés dans ces espaces). Nous regrettons fortement le manque de propreté dans toutes les pièces. Des chambres très disparates, tous les sommiers des lits en 90 sont à changer. Les sanitaires à refaire. Deux douches correctes ont le mérite d'exister. Le site indique 2 cuisines, 1 seule à notre disposition (donc seulement 1 frigo pour 13). Électricité dangereuse surtout dans les salles d'eau. Dans son ensemble cette belle maison meriterait un grand rafraîchissement (mais pas comme la peinture des fenêtres). Nous sommes conscients qu'entretenir une telle bâtisse demande beaucoup de travaux de rénovation et un apport financier conséquent, alors courage à vous ... les amis bretons

Superbe batisse dans un parc exceptionnel à 2 pas de la plage.

Le cadre est splendide, le parc bordé de magnifiques arbres est incroyable. L'intérieur est immense mais inégal. Il y a une grande table, une cuisine opérationnelle, un piano, un billard... c'est génial. Mais la qualité des chambres varie beaucoup, certaines sont inexploitables avec une literie poussiereuse et des meubles plus que défraîchis, d'autres heureusement ont connu un petit rafraichissement.

Belle maison mais....

Belle demeure bretonne avec beaucoup d'espace qui de par le photos donne immédiatement envie de s'y projeter. Cette maison est restée "dans son jus" des années passées . Les propriétaires tentent de la rénover progressivement car de nombreuses pièces n'ont pas évoluées depuis de nombreuses années me semble t-il. Mais ce n'est pas bien grave, nous étions là pour se faire à manger le soir et dormir , étant en visite de la région toute la journée. Néanmoins de petites choses pratiques seraient à revoir. La liste n'est pas exhaustive.....Deux petits exemples :Une poêle de 28 cm pour faire la cuisine à 14 personnes reste compliqué (barbecue charbon de bois inexistant). Faire vérifier le réfrigérateur qui ne se règle pas et qui fait trop de froid....... Sinon , joli parc, une belle tranquillité sans voisinage. Peut-être un cout du ménage un peu excessif de par la qualité de ce dernier à notre arrivée . Ces quelques remarques afin que la propriétaire revoie ces quelques anomalies.

Nous avons apprécié la profusion de livres et de tableaux qui donnent l'impression d'être invités dans une maison de famille et aussi la grandeur de la maison qui permet à la fois de s'isoler et d'être bien tous ensemble.
