Welcome to Villa Barracuda, a stunning new home located in Playa Grande Beach, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Our villa offers a unique and modern space for family, friends, or any type of group getaway.

The villa's strategic location is only a 2-minute drive or 10-minute walk to the ocean, with several restaurants, surf-shops, and supermarkets within walking distance. Relax and enjoy the beauty of nature and a variety of activities.

This luxurious villa boasts 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a large pool with a kids' area, a shaded BBQ/Yoga area, a pergola with outdoor seating, 2 outdoor showers, shaded parking, and a beautiful garden. All of this is set in the peaceful and lush surroundings of Guanacaste’s tropical dry forest, where you can hear the sounds of local animals.

The master suite has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, private bathroom, and desk, while the secondary bedroom has a queen-sized bed and shares a bathroom with the third bedroom which includes 2 bunk beds with 4 single beds. The villa can comfortably accommodate 8 or more people.

We also have a beautiful garden with a cultural theme, featuring sculptures made by locals, including replicas of Pre-Columbian stone spheres (Diquís), stone vases, and other animals. The garden includes seating areas made of stone, teak, and hemp.

Great Stay

Great spot for family of 6 in quiet surf town on Playa Grande. Great beach and restaurants within walking distance. Unfortunately the road to the home was in very bad condition, making in and out with a car a little rough. Otherwise great spot creating a wonderful Christmas holiday for family. Hope to return soon.

My family and I went to Costa Rica for the first time and had an incredible time. Our hosts were fantastic and responsive whenever we had a questions. The house is really well located and near everything you would want in the area. We rarely left Playa Grande. Between the beach and the pool, and the local restaurants, there was never a need to travel very far.

Fabulous stay

Our stay was great. We were a family of 5 including a 1 year old toddler. The management were very responsive to our needs, responded quickly to our inquiries and gave us a lovely welcome. Perfect family getaway

Our family of 6, with kids ages 23 to 14 really enjoyed our stay. We were late checking in but the owners were very accommodating and made it was very simple. The house was clean. The beds are very comfortable. Everything needed was there. The pool was perfect. The monkeys visited for a few days.The restaurants had great food and friendly staff and were in walking distance. The beach was so close and the surfing and sunsets were amazing. We felt safe and walked everywhere. We can’t wait to go back. Very grateful to have found such a beautiful spot.

Beautiful quiet villa!

“We spent two relaxing weeks at this beautiful villa and highly recommend! Easy to locate using google maps and an easy drive from the Liberia airport. The pool was refreshing and an entertaining show of birds and monkeys! Very comfy beds, great kitchen with everything you need and everything very clean and well kept. Nice location with an easy walk or drive to several restaurants, small grocery store and beach with fun places to stop for a drink or meal along the way. The beach was beautiful with miles of walking, clean and very few people fun to watch the surfers and the colorful sunsets. Sara was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay and an outstanding host. We felt very safe at this villa! The home is in a quiet neighborhood with lots of privacy. Great experience and thank you for sharing this beautiful villa with us!”
