Great place to stay! The location was excellent — close to everything but off of the busy 5th Ave strip. The penthouse suite we stayed at was perfect for us. Staff was great and accommodating. Couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Nice hotel and wonderful staff!

The facilities were very nice and very close to the beach and downtown area. We had the 3 bedroom penthouse, which was extremely spacious and nicely decorated. The walk through the complex was gorgeous; however, the view from the rooftop balcony was not nice. Despite the fact that we were so close to a very busy downtown area, the room was quiet! All of the staff was over-the-top friendly, including the waiters at the ocean front restaurant, Indigo. We experienced only one "glitch" with our booking - we had been told that at least one of the rooms would have two beds, but that was not the case. Upon notifying the front desk, there was an actual bed (not a cot) immediately brought to our room, set up and dressed. Playa del Carmen is generally too "built up" for my taste, but I have to admit I was happy to see Starbucks just right around the corner! The concierge service was very helpful - I highly recommend the cenote snorkel trip, but would pass on snorkeling with turtles.
