• "The photos are really good, but the place far exceeds the pictures" . . . per a couple of recent guests..
. Less than 1 1/2 hours from most of the Phoenix metro area. 5 Minutes from Camp LoMia (maybe less). 5 minutes from Strawberry. 20 minutes from Payson. 15 minutes from the the rim.
. 4 bedrooms — 3 with California kings, and one with a full size futon. Sleep 8 in beds, plenty of room for air mattresses and foam pads.
• Two full baths, both with new shower/tub and all new fixtures, sinks, toilets.
• 632 SF Great Room with full view of the green acre lot the cabin sits on.
• 300 SF Kitchen, including 8-foot island, fully stocked with cooking utensils and dining service.
• Central heat and air
• Wifi & Cable TV --- big screens in the Great Room and Master Bedroom suite.
• Fenced parking for 4 vehicles (depending on size of vehicles)
• Stocked with linen for bath, bedrooms & kitchen
• Full flat and green acre lot. Fenced and contained play area. Large open area. Fire circle. 18 blue spruces. 15 fruit trees. Frequent crossing, bedding and grazing for elk and deer. Amazing for kids to play and run — great spot for Whiffle Ball, ultimate Frisbee, kick-ball, Frisbee golf, volley ball, croquet and other lawn games. There is no place in the area that can offer the same grassy flat acre lot.
• Conveniently located near hiking trails, streams, lakes and the all the amenities of metro Payson. Good dining options. Grocery store in Pine and box stores just 20 minutes away in Payson.
• This place will lighten your burdens, and gladden your hearts!!!

Great for large group
We stayed for a week starting the day before Thanksgiving for an elk hunt. We had 8 adults and 4 children and had a great Thanksgiving dinner! The best aspects of house: very well-stocked, large kitchen and beautiful, large yard for not only children to play but to see deer, elk, squirrels and birds ALL day, every DAY!

Pine family gathering
The thermastat didn't work and we found ourselves freezing. The contact person I had been dealing with all along did not respond. Reached out to 2nd contact that did get someone to fix it. We were however without heat for 9 hrs. The property is spacious which is nice for family gatherings. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife.

Nice retreat in the Arizona cool country
We were there to escape the heat in Phoenix in July and the property did not disappoint. We really enjoyed the large fenced yard with big shade trees and watching the local elk grazing in the yard with their newborn calves.
