Our stay as Whispering Pines was great! This one-bedroom was exactly as pixtures and listing described. It was a little tight for our family of 4, but it did the job! The condo was clean and well-stocked. We even found a drawer of games as we were heading out. The unit had a homey, personal vibe since the property has changed ownership. Whispering Pines is no longer the condominium complex it once was. The sweet ladies at the office are no more. However, Kirklands/Chris was very friendly and helpful with our stay. They communicated timely and even issued a message about weather statements and precautions to take. The main bedroom was comfortable and we slept great. My oldest even said he slept like a baby on the pull-out sofa.The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals at the condo. However, be warned, there is a stainless pan that burns every time and is darn near impossible to clean! The pool was nice, as always. Our boys thoroughly enjoyed spending time there. Bottom line, if you've read this far, if this unit fits the size of your family needs, you won't be disappointed. As someone who has spent many weeks at Whispering Pines under prior ownership, I would still recommend staying there through this listing!
