Outstanding property and location. We found the kitchen well appointed, which is perfect for us. We like to cook at home and save a lot of money that way. Also loved the Air Conditioning and fans for a perfect setting indoors during hot weather. The view is amazing. We even spotted Havalenas and many birds we have never seen. We would highly recommend this property.

Great Little House

We enjoyed our stay. Nice house. Check in was a little tricky. We didn't have both codes but a two minute phone call solved the issue. It was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the hiking right in the backyard. Recommend this home.

Spring Training Getaway

The location was great for baseball. The refrigerator did not have a working ice machine which was a big disappointment. We had to buy ice. The area around the pool needed to be swept.I would not recommend for children because the pool was not heated and did not have a handrail. The house was very clean and organized and had all that we needed. It was great to have a grill.

Pleasant time in Phoenix

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very comfortable and a good location. We wished the owners would have listed more of the amenities they had in the VRBO as it would have helped with our packing. Only other thing that would have been nice were more restaurant suggestions. Maybe consider a place for your guests to write their recommendations for future guests.

Hiker's dream home

Great home within a couple hundred feet from some of the best hiking in all of Phoenix. Home was very comfortable and just the right size for three people (couples) to relax. Trailhead access is 5 houses down and you can spend days on trail if you wanted to. Beautiful sunrise/sunset photography options.

Girls Trip

I stayed with 2 friends for a long weekend to attend a concert and soak up the last of summer. The house was clean and as described. We really enjoyed the pool and view of the recreational area.

House was fine other than the patio in the back next to the pool that had a trail of red ants each day. AC was inadequate to keep 70 temp at night. I attempted a late check out. System kept getting errors and by the time I got responses from property management it was too late to achieve due to their policies on late check out. I will avoid this property management in the future.

Quiet Getaway

Pros: Quiet, clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was supplied with mostly everything we needed. The home was situated overlooking a big hill where people climbed daily. It was an awesome view of watchin them climb and at night the coyotes howling. Cons: Furnishing were uncomfortable for the aging adults (low to the ground and very wide seating). The outside patio furniture was worn & rickety. The table was wobbly and a chair broke while sitting in it from being worn. The pool when we arrived was dirty and full of tree pollen. I called in right away but the pool people did not come for 2 days. We arrived on a Tues and they came on Thursday. I spent hours skimming all the tree pollen off in hopes of us being able to swim. They need to make sure to run the filter more and keep the pool clean for guests arriving. Once we got it cleaned off and the filter kicked on the pool started to filter out all the pollen left. After that the pool was clean and we were able to swim and enjoy it. I recently had a knee replacement and found it very hard to get in and out of the pool. The step is very deep and they have no grab bar. I would suggest installing a grab bar not only for people like me but for children as well. I would update the aging patio furniture too.

Amazing 5 star property, frustrating property management

This home is gorgeous, well appointed, wonderfully located, and just as described. We rented this home to be in my cousin’s neighborhood to spend time with family and relax. We loved it. Appreciate all the extras provided from coffee and tea to shampoo and soaps. The home is steps away from an incredible trail system. We hiked every day. There is nothing at all wrong with the home except for the management. Please note the property is managed by Vacasa and they do not check messages on Vrbo. To reach the management about pool heat and early check-in I had to locate the vacasa phone # and go through their complicated phone system. It took multiple phone calls over several days to discover we could not get an early check-in and the property does not have pool heat. So, this home is a must-stay as long as you’re prepared to wrestle with Vacasa bureaucracy if you need assistance.

Just Perfect

House was clean, highly organized, and had everything we needed. Proximity to South Mountain is hard to beat. Access to the trails couldn’t be closer and we saw tons of wildlife right behind the house (Javelinas, coyotes, etc). Backyard was quiet and very enjoyable. Really just a perfect place to stay. We will be back.

Pluses & minuses

The house is a very nice location. A short walk to many walking & biking trails. Close to a grocery store. Nice quiet neighborhood. Beautiful view from the enclosed backyard. Minuses—pool was ice cold, not heated. No grill that could be used. There was a charcoal grill in the garage, but there was a sheet of information that said not to use it. They living room furniture is not very comfortable for sitting to watch tv. If the pool had been heated, and a usable gas grill, this would be an absolutely perfect rental.

Great Spring Getaway

Perfect location to enjoy nearby hikes and the pool (although the water was a bit cold)! We did have a few minor issues upon arrival and it took a little time to get thorough to the Vacasa property management. Once we got ahold of them, they quickly addressed all issues.
