This property provided our family of 5 a great vacation spot. The place was spotless when we arrived. It was bright, with high ceilings and lots of space. It was central to the highway. The pool, clubhouse and gym amenities were great too.
A few issues which prompted our 4-star review. This place comes with basic kitchen supplies. The cupboards were SPARSE. We didn’t plan to eat in a lot but we got a place with a kitchen (rather than a hotel) so that we could bring in a few groceries and save some money. We ate salad out of frying pan as there was not a single suitable bowl. There were only 3 cereal bowls, so we ate breakfast in shifts. No cutting board or baking sheet large enough for a pizza. We constantly did dishes to have enough, which is far from ideal on vacation. There were also only 4 chairs around a small table.
Beds were comfortable. Bedrooms were a good size but again they too were basic in terms of what is provided. A bed, 2 small side tables and that’s it. No dressers, nothing to even put a piece of luggage on. Our suitcases lay on the floor all week. It would have been nice to have a surface or two to throw some things. There weren’t even hangers in the closets. 1 towel/person, 1 toilet paper roll/bath
Kayla was quick to respond to our questions but always with ‘will pass it on and see what can be done’ only to never hear back again. Nothing was done to remedy our few concerns. Hope the feedback will at least help them make some simple upgrades.
