Do not stay here

Let me start out with saying this is a very bad location. The place was very dirty there was a dead bug on the bed the room had a smell to it like a bingo hall . It is just not a safe area for the family setting . I know you can’t control other people . But there were cops all over last night idk it was all bad they should not be allowed to take people money for this place . We left we did not stay there.don’t recommend

Not what I expected

Room smell like cigarette, bed was broken, and there a thrash bag right outside my unit’s door. TV wasn’t working either. Left and went elsewhere. Management and Hotel employees were helpful and offered to transfer me to another unit, but didn’t like the location and it was too open and unsecured.

Disappointing

The pool was dirty, no one was using it! The tub had moldy caulk. The 1st unit I was assigned to (1523), the AC was not working & the steps were a tripping hazard. The 2nd room was better but I really wanted to get in the pool. Would not go back!

THIS PLACE IS GROSS!!! Horrible experience

DO NOT STAY HERE. My family booked this place for a number of nights during Spring Training. We stayed a total of 10 minutes before finding other accommodations. In those 10 minutes, we found and killed a handful of cockroaches, discovered unknown stains on the bedding, floors, and walls, and were overall thoroughly DISGUSTED by the state and condition of the unit. If VRBO would allow me to post pictures I would just to hammer my point home. It was bad. Really bad. The listing managers were quick to reply to my emails and complaints, but I have yet to receive anything but platitudes when all I really wanted was my money refunded. We literally did not spend more than 10 minutes in the unit and were in constant communication with the listing managers during the entire process and still have not received any type of refund. I do not typically post reviews, but this experience was so bad and I am so angry about it all that I felt this justified everyone knowing that the pictures on the post are not an accurate indication of the actual place. All I can say is do not book this listing.

The room was not bad, just not a 5 start. Half of the lights in the room where out or missing bulbs. The appliances were nice and up to date. Rooms cleanliness was that of a cheap hotel. Issues we had were the area surrounding the property is filthy and not the safest at night with the homeless population grows. My gf had gotten locked out because she had gotten the numbers mixed up. She went to the front desk to have them unlock the door for her, they told her that they didn't have us in their system even though we had been there for 2 days already. My gf said our stuff is in there and I can show you all of our information. As they walked back to the room to unlock. My gf likes to make small talk and was like these rooms are pretty good for the price and being in an Simi safe area. He responded, "Who told you that?" She said, "My sister is a local and she said it wasn't too bad as far as being safe. His response was, "That's wrong it's not safe". Then the company want me to give a 5 star. Sorry, I can't do that. You all need a lot of work on your area and place of business. Especially when you are about to be charging double for the Superbowl.

It was so bad we did not stay..

First off the room was dirty and had nit been cleaned. The bed had no bedding and the ceiling was covered un black mold. The hot water tank was sitting by the front door and there was urine all over the sidewalk outside. The room had insulation and mud all over the floor from the removal of the hot water tank. Lastly the room we got was not the one that is referenced in the listing. I got a text the day before saying we were being moved to a comparable room but I am guessing this is what they do with all thoer guests. It is not as advertised!!!

Needs attention!

I was really disappointed to come to the property in the evening and see what appeared to be small cockroaches come from under the carpet — also small termites crawling up the wall. The tub was filthy and there was hair in the tub as well as the bedsheets. We were unable to stay at the property and left to book a hotel at the airport. The host did respond fairly quickly and when I was able to provide pictures he did adequately rectify the situation. He was kind and apologetic.
