Lovely small inn within walking distance of downtown shops, wine tasting rooms and dining establishments. Property has been recently and tastefully renovated. Beds and all linens very high quality. I stayed one night while traveling many nights. I would like to go back and use this as a base for a multi day exploration of Ashland, Jacksonville and SW Oregon wine country.

This could be a great property but their attention to detail is sorely lacking. Upon entry the king bed skirt seemed to be 2 sizes to big and was all over the place. The sink was clogged very slow draining....... The bathroom shower curtain looked like it had been jammed in a small box and hung up all full of deep wrinkles...... Then there was the mold/ mildew on the bathroom ceiling and wall. With some care this place could be amazing

This was my second visit in two weeks. This time I rented one of the two Suites with a King bed, fireplace and jacuzzi tub. All amenities in the room worked well, were clean and ready for our use. The small alcove room with the fireplace was romantic and comfortable. The bed was clean white and comfortable and warm. The Jacuzzi tub was large and had water pressure enough to fill the tub in less than 5 minutes. Very Nice! All in all this is a GREAT little hotel that is well kept and has great staff and customer service. My girlfriend and I plan to make this our spot when ever we are in the Medford / Jacksonville area. There are a number of older classic buildings with shops and restaurants within a mile of the hotel. There is plenty to do localling in Jacksonville to support a quaint romantic weekend with additional services and entertainment just 10 miles away in Medford. I highly recommend the Wine Country Inn for you romantic get aways or even as a one night stay when you want a little more quality for yourself without paying the prices at some of the chains.
