Near GCU but in an amazing neighborhood
My son graduated from GCU last week which is in an economically depressed area so there is not much even available for rent much less a hotel. So when we had family flying in we opted for this home which is about 3.5 miles from campus. What a score!!!It is a large home that is spread out in such a way that you never feel crowded and can slip away pretty easily. And what a cool home to boot! The backyard and front yard were so great and we socialized in every area they had so the layout of the house was not wasted on us. The pool was great though you will fight the amazing ficus trees for debris but you won't hate on them because they provide dense shade. We decided to heat the pool and the managers were fast to the site to get that going for us. The beds were a bit firm for our tastes but that is so subjective and few accommodations ever get that right so it is not a negative critique, just a passing comment. The neighborhood is a classic and quiet mid century modern gem with most of the homes being built around 1950-55 so with that you get mature trees and landscaping all around which made for great walks after meals and in the cool of the evening. Some fantastic restaurants are within a mile of the home so you don't have to venture out if you are not going to eat at the house however, the house is set up so well for cooking. Team Cadaci has an amazing property and great service - as for me and my family, we are thankful to them for letting us rent their home.
