Both elevators were out of order. We are seniors, I have a bad knee. We were on the 4th floor. The bathroom was not clean (hair/dirt). Floor, toilet, shower. There was dirt in corners in room. No trash can in room, or coat hangers. Positives- The lady at the front desk, breakfast and bed. I will never stay at a Hampton Inn by Hilton again! Another thing, we had to pay $5 to park in the Hampton Inn parking lot. Are you kidding me? We travel alot and have never encountered that!!!

Hampton Inn by Hilton Petersburg Ft. Gregg Adams I stayed here Friday through Monday for leisure. The customer service overall was great, and check-in and check-out were both smooth. My room was clean upon arrival, and the staff I interacted with were polite. However, I was disappointed that during my 4-day, 3-night stay, I never received any housekeeping service. When I informed the front desk, the staff member acknowledged it should have been done but didn’t seem concerned or offer a resolution. Additionally, the hotel room phone was not working, so I had to use my personal cell phone to contact the front desk, which was inconvenient and took several attempts before anyone answered. When I mentioned the issue the next morning, I was told most of the hotel phones were down, but that wasn’t mentioned at check-in. On a positive note, the overnight staff on Saturday were very helpful, the gentleman on duty made sure I received fresh towels once they were available, which I really appreciated. Overall, my stay was okay, but a few communication and maintenance issues need improvement. Also, be aware there is a parking fee, which I didn’t realize until after checking in.
