Batticapo di Ilaria is a wonderful stone cottage, set on the hills between Lucca and the sea, surrounded by olive trees, with a swimming pool, which set in earth (7 x 4 m, depth: 1.30m) and which is at the exclusive use of the guests. A perfect choice for families with children or guest travelling with pets. For couples looking for privacy and quietness and for lovers of strolls on the green hills – guests will have the possibility to discover the surroundings on foot or by bicycle.

In the surroundings: Driving down to Camaiore you will easily reach the coast with its well-known beaches such as Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore and Forte dei Marmi. The characteristic city of Lucca as also all the other important art cities of Tuscany as also the airport of Pisa are within a quick reach.
Guests may enjoy their outdoor life to the top – making strolls in the green hills, excursions along the pilgrim road “Via Francigena” and taste local specialities in one of the restaurants of the area.
Interesting spots in the vicinity of the holiday home and possible day trips:
The Molino di Menicone museum in San Martino in Freddana, the Giacomo Puccini museum in Celle di Puccini, the smallest theatre in the World in Vetriano, the devil’s bridge in Borgo a Mozzano, the “wind” cavern, the chestnut museum in Colognora.
