Gorgeous property in a perfect location
We are a family of 4 with two teenage boys and spent 4 nights at the Old Vine House. The location is perfect - right in the heart of the old town just a few minutes walk to the sea front. The property itself is a gorgeous old place with fabulous views from the top bedroom. The aircon was very welcome as we were in Perast during several very hot days. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There’s a good little convenience store a few minutes walk where you can buy essentials including fresh bread, cheese, milk, cereals etc but for fresh meats you would need to travel to Kotor. Perast is a fabulous place for a few days. We loved the boat tour to the blue caves and chilling at the beach club. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful place, great accommodation
We spent 2 nights at the Old Vine House - right in the middle of the picture postcard beautiful town of Perast. The house suited us perfectly, clean, comfortable, well equipped and lots of room - the spiral stair case could be an issue for very small kids or anyone with mobility issues (that's made clear in the info anyway) but was totally fine for us. Ray was really helpful and so was Stefany who let us into the house and showed us round. We managed to leave a couple of things behind when we left Perast but were able to get hold of Ray quickly who arranged for us to pop back and pick them up - he was really accommodating. It's quite an expensive little town (a couple of truly stunning hotels) but for the location and quality of restaurants, the pricing was fair enough - it really was a dreamy location. We took the boat trip out to the little Island - Our Lady of the Rocks - super inexpensive at 5 euro each return and well worth if for the gorgeous views. We also swam at the far end of the town - like lots of the coast, just steps down into the sea - the water was so clear & lovely. All in all would highly recommend - very covetous of having a bolt hole in such a beautiful spot!

Charming and quiet retreat
Perast is the place to stay in the area. Incredibly enchanting town. The property was very quiet and has stunning bay views from small top floor window. Slept well in the comfortable beds.
Negatives were: kitchen level was dark and smelled of mildew. We didnt cook so it wasnt too much of an issue. Also, the internet didnt work.

Gorgeous house in the nicest part of the Bay of Kotor.
Lovely house in a beautiful part of Montenegro, with everything we needed for a week's family holiday before heading up into the mountains. Local agents were really helpful too. Take snorkels and masks - the water's so clear there's lots to see - and don't miss the pizzas at Boca Libre in Perast or a wander round the walled old city at Kotor. Also recommend hiring kayaks to explore around the fjord.

Ideal for our holiday!
The cottage was perfect for our family holiday. It is a neat, compact cottage that had everything we needed for our stay. The location of the cottage, set a few rows back from the bay and road, is perfect. It offers privacy and real peace and quiet while being only moments away from the bars and restaurants. Perast was by far the prettiest of the towns we passed through on the bay and has the added benefit of having the road that runs through it closed to most traffic during the summer.
Ray was fantastic from the moment we booked the house - he was so responsive to questions and so helpful when one of our party encountered visa related issues. We made full use of his eating, drinking and touring recommendations that were all received in advance of our visit so we could do some planning. Any minor issues we encountered with the house were dealt with very swiftly by his charming local agents. I don't think we could have found a better place to stay!
