If a person can't relax in this cabin and its surrounding environment, they may need to examine a few things in their life :) It is quiet, secluded peace in a beautiful setting, and I'm so glad I (and my dog) got to experience it on our visit to Minnesota. We were lucky enough to see deer on one of our walks in the woods and also a heron fishing in reeds right outside the cabin, a huge owl, and a beaver waddling along on the grass on its way back to the creek. Plus many, many birds including haunting loon calls.The cabin was clean with a very comfortable king-sized bed. We had every necessity we wanted and were very happy in our seclusion. I felt like I was in my own private world, and it was exactly what I needed. The short drive to Crosslake for a pickup order at Pine Peaks was very pretty (good food too). Nathan is a great host and my messages were answered very quickly. This would also be a great place for a family to stay! I loved being in this space! My only regret was I didn't have time to enjoy my "forget the real world" life for a bit longer. Guess I will have to go back - maybe in the autumn when the woods will be gorgeous :)
