Great beach view. Very nice balcony.I enjoyed the indoor pool immensely due to reprieve from the sun in the middle of the day.The host was very helpful at check in and check out was very smooth.The unit did need a clean up of the woodwork and the area rug. Some lighting issues, as well.Overall, though, a great place to stay.

We love Perdido Key, convenient location, beautiful views, nice beach, our 2nd time at Beach Colony. We had a few cleaning issues upon arrival which were immediately addressed and taken care of. We did not like the entry system, it could be better, a lockbox is outdated and inconvenient. The parking passes were an issue, we arrived Saturday and the office is not open until Monday, we had 2 cars that received warning tickets on Saturday and Sunday. We were also asked multiple times during the week to show our bracelets which I get it, but is quite annoying while trying to enjoy your time away. The elevator code worked sometimes, but we were given the maintenance code and worked perfectly. One elevator was broke part of the week, which made wait times long and there is zero ventilation in the elevator. The condo itself is spacious, great views, plenty of cooking items and dishes. It could use a table that seats 6-8. We had a great time!! Thanks!!

Great Trip

The condo owner went above & beyond to help us have an amazing trip. I accidentally ordered a grocery delivery for the wrong day (meant for delivery the day after we arrived, accidentally had delivery while we were still en route). The owner arranged for the groceries to not just be brought into the condo, but also be put away! Thank you so so much for that!! They also noticed that a shower door was broken during my grocery mishap & arranged for a handy man to fix it the following morning, so our trip was not affected at all. We were all (my spouse, myself & 3 children) very comfortable & had a great time with easy access to the beach. My teenage son utilized the gym almost daily. Aside from going to the beach, we also spent a lot of time on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The perfect views of the ocean were great. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great trip

Area wasn’t over crowded like other places we’ve been to in Florida so that was nice as we ate out most nights (several restaurants close). Cleaning people need to do better and I wish there was a regular coffee maker. Overall it was great for a family of five.

Perdido key multiple family trip

Our stay was great! Condo was so spacious and have a bathroom for every room was so helpful. Easy access to the pool and beach and not a crowded complex at all. The only suggestions I would give is to switch the door to a code entry rather than key, just for simplicity and that the condo needed to be stock with more essentials- scissors, kitchen utensils, games, puzzles etc!

Loved the property. Layout of condo is fantastic, with a fabulous balcony. Quite property with great pools. My only complaint is the key process to get in and out of the door is very cumbersome and being harassed about wrist bands constantly while on beach and pool was annoying. The beach at property is great annd well maintained, and not overcrowded. Bed comfortable, but my adult kids were upset to have a room with no TV. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved this place!

Sadly, this facility is very hard to get into. Codes for everything. Would be much easier to just have a simple key code on front door instead of an actual code to a lock box to open to get a key then once you open the door you have to put the key back into the lock box. It’s very difficult. The furniture in the living room is updated but the actual facility needs work. The coffee pot did not work and the only thing available was a small one cup coffee maker. When we arrived we were told check in was after 3:00pm but on the website it clearly states check in is at 3:00. At 3:00 we were told the condo was not finished being cleaned. Finally we were told we could go in but the cleaners were still there. It was very strange to walk in with cleaners but we had groceries so no choice. I also feel the owners should focus on the little items travelers enjoy like soap, small shampoos, etc. there were lots of towels provided which was nice and the location was great but again the facility is dated and way too many codes. Rebecca, the lady that oversees the property was responsive and nice but we will look for a different condo for our next visit.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo is roomy and the balcony is so nice. Our only negatives were one elevator was broken but thankfully the other one worked and the main keurig didn’t work but the one cup keurig did. So, all in all, a nice week! We have booked this condo again for next year.

Great location and amenities!

My family (husband, elementary-aged child, and mother) stayed here while visiting my brother's family over fall break. My child loved the indoor pool when it was a bit chilly outside, and you can't beat the access to the beach! The rooms were spacious and set up well and the balcony had a great view. Would definitely stay again.

This was our third time staying at Beach Colony Resort. We love this area. There is plenty to do, eat and see without the crazy crowds. Oyster Bar has fantastic seafood. We did the tour at Historic Pensacola and would recommend it. The condo itself has some cleanliness issues and the agent promptly responded. I had texted pictures to the agent who was going to forward to the owner. There were stains on rugs, mold in the water/ice dispenser, sand in the sheets, broken closet does, shower in master bath that sprayed water over the top of the enclosure, stains on extra pillows. The linens were changed but the other issues were not addressed by the cleaning crew. I let the agent know after the cleaning crew left what was not cleaned or fixed. The condo overall was good but needed upkeep. Hopefully these issues will be addressed before the next renter.

Overall nice

This was a nice unit overall. The bad: We did not like the entry as it required getting keys from a lockbox upon entry and returning the keys when leaving. The lockbox has a metal keypad that comes off entirely when you enter the code and, if not prepared, you can easily drop on your feet. There were no cleaning supplies in the condo so you have to bring your own for daily upkeep. Generally, I only bring hand soaps for the bathrooms, dish soap and Clorox wipes to add to the existing products but there was nothing there and the condo has glass tables which do not clean well with Clorox wipes. The freezer only has one shelf and a drawer as the rest of the shelves seemed to have been removed. The bottom drawer of the refrigerator freezes the contents which I think should be a simple fix but wasn’t fun to discover. The good: location was incredible, conveniently located maybe 5 minutes from Publix. The resort itself was pretty well kept up and maintained. The unit had little soaps and shampoos in each bathroom which we very much appreciated. The unit was well stocked with towels, cups, silverware, plates, bowls, and general cookware. There was also a fresh sponge supplied which was a nice touch. Tv was super easy to use, wifi was very reliable, and the ax did a great job of keeping the unit cool. Overall a great unit!

Great Condo

Loved the condo, everything was very clean. The kids really enjoyed the indoor pool, especially on the day where there was scattered rain. Host was very prompt with communication. The only thing that could have been slightly better was cooking utensils/pots/pans. We made do with what was provided and it did not impact our trip - still 5 stars

Memorial Weekend

Was a very nice stay. Would stay here again. Owners very responsive and easy to work with. We did not use the pools/hot tub areas but they were nice. We did use the grills and there was a nice grassy area to relax in while waiting. Lots of codes but we just plugged them into our phone and that made it really easy for us old folks to remember. Grocery store close by as well as a few restaurants. We enjoy the less busy areas and this worked great for our family.
