The room wasn't so bad; it was clean and fairly spacious and the bed was comfortable. The shower was strange, but it showered. The people in the room next to us were loud and they were loud all night long. They argued al lot. I heard him call her a "lying b***h" at 3am as I lay there awake. We were up early and went to breakfast which included some good hot food and was the only good part of staying there. I noticed the pair from the room next to ours make 3 trips to get breakfast. They had enough to last the day. I don't need to stay in place like this. I wish people would be more truthful in their ratings of properties.

The only thing that I would take a star away for is that there was no shower gel. There was shampoo, but no conditioner. Thankfully I did have some shower gel with me that I had from a previous trip. Other than that, perfect!

When I pulled in the parking lot I was a little discouraged by the appearance. It looked run down and nearly abandoned. The clerk had his head down as if sleeping when I entered to check in. Check in was quick and I was given the key to a room on the 2nd floor. When the door opened, a young man appeared from seemingly nowhere and asked if he could ride up with me. On the way up he asked me questions about where I worked and how much I made. I tried to be cordial, but I felt this was a red flag that made me uncomfortable. I turned toward my room and as I opened up the door, he was talking to someone in a different room on the other side of the elevator. I didn't see a vape pipe, but there was definitely either smoke or vape hanging in the air above his head. He was watching to see what room I went in. I checked out my room, which had the same appearance as the exterior of the hotel. Run down and dingy. It took me about 3 minutes to decide to leave and find a different hotel. As I was leaving the room, I noticed the room next to mine had the door ajar and held open by the security bar from inside the room It wasn't like that when I went into my room. Red flag number 2. I feel that someone was waiting to see if I left, either for the purpose of stealing my car or burglarizing my room if I did leave. It had a very bad vibe. Even though I sacrificed the price of the room I was very happy to drive down the road to Vicksburg and stay at a Hampton Inn and Suites.

The room walls are paper thin. I had 2 room. One for me and my fiancee and one for my mother in law. We had driven over 10 hours and was very tired. Our rooms were on the 2nd floor. Our room was at one end of the hallway and hers was at the other end. I booked them together but we were separated. We heard bumping in the hallway and above us after midnight. I thought it was just us, but my mother in law heard the same. I let the lady at the desk know and she just said that it was the workers. I feel like that is inconsiderate to us and the other guests. It is a hotel. We lost 2 nights of sleep because it happened on the second night as well.

Very little interaction during check-in. Not rude, just not friendly. Hotel condition is fine even though it’s a little older. Room cleanliness was terrible. Obviously had not been vacuumed. A few splatters on the walls. Breakfast was good. Biscuits and gravy always a good option.
