This cabin is so nicely decorated and a lot of thought was put into making sure we had everything we could want. Lots of extra blankets to cozy up by the fire, or read a book and enjoy the woods out on the deck. All the spices to add flavor to our meals, plus other staples like sugar and flour. Bed linens that were soft and warm (tons of pillows of every size and density), thick towels and make-up wipes. There’s even a bidet for those who are looking for that next level. Several games and lots of books to enjoy. Any questions we had were answered within minutes. There was lots of wood there already (at least 2 cords) so you may want to check what’s there before you plan to buy wood on your way in. Bring some fire starters, though (if you forgot they sell them at the Outfitters in town)! There’s a Dollar General in Paw Paw, too, if you forgot anything. We noticed Cheryl’s Snack Shack always seems to have a lot of cars, so we got wings to go one night and they were great - they also have daily specials and ice cream if you’re looking for a little treat. We enjoyed the C&O canal trail and biked/walked the Paw Paw tunnel. We also enjoyed an evening in Berkeley Springs with dinner and martinis at The Naked Olive (we LOVE their martinis) and a movie at the Star - they have couch seating if you’re there early enough, and they serve beer, too! You’re less than an hour from Winchester which is well worth a visit (you may even hear a y’all or two). Highly recommend staying here.
